All good @Captain24 - I don't have so much going on that I can't devote time to this thread. It's important.
I know only so real what it is like to go through such a dark phase. I'd encourage you park whatever pink ice cream van into your thoughts. Your version of my pink ice cream van may be Pixie doing something silly, a childhood memory, something funny someone has said etc.
The reason I'm saying this is that I've learnt that the more you think these thoughts, the more ingrained they become and the harder it is to re-train your brain to think in healthier ways. It was so much work for me to 'undo' all the negative thinking patterns I'd learnt.
I hope my experiences will make yours a little lighter.
I remember the time I used to hate being me. I hated living and I hated my own company, yet I despised the company of others too. It was a very difficult time in my life. I was going through my driving history yesterday, and my 'dark' times are really evident in my driving history. Thank God I have a clear record now. But darkness really does cloud one's outlook.
Help yourself, even if it's hard. It will be worth it. You have so much to give and so much ahead. It'll be worth it.
What is your version of my ice-cream van?
