I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

@Captain24 I agree with @creative_writer that it is totally normal to feel pretty nervous going into an appointment - especially if it's only your second time!

It could help to reflect back on how you felt after the first appointment you had? Like, did you walk out of that appointment feeling heard, or feeling like it was helpful for you? Cos that might help you reassure yourself about the next one you have 😊

How long till the appointment? Have you got something to help distract you in the meantime? I think sometimes the waiting is the worst part!

I’m in the waiting room now @Jynx . Shaking like a leaf. I have done a lot of housework this morning trying to distract myself! At least my house is clean. Lol

Oh my @Captain24 a clean house will likely be very nice to return to! Also sitting with you. I also shake a lot when I'm nervous, but I also reckon you will be just fine - and regardless of how it goes, we will be here waiting for you after as well 💜

I was so anxious in the app @Jynx but I got through it. Lol. I’ve been changed to a different anti-psychotic and a mood stabiliser has been added. I have to slowly withdraw from the current anti-psychotic slowly. That means I’m unable to work for the next week. So bonus for me!! Not sure what to expect with my moods though.

Still on the bipolar diagnosis but a complete change of meds so hopefully it helps. I can’t stay in the dark place I’m in currently. She really listens and easy to talk to which is great. I would prefer a face to face consult rather than a Telehealth but that’s what happens out here.

They should be here in the next 15 mins. Yes house cleaned and everything done just need dad to cook the meat. It has been a productive day especially when I needed the distraction.
