I can’t cope

I got 9 hrs @Snowie so I’m feeling a lot less tired today. I just feel like I have a hangover. But I think it will be an early night tonight to finish catching up.

Im sitting at the hospital waiting for him in the next scan. I’ve been into all appointments so far,

All is completed. @Snowie I know so much more of what is going on. I learnt somethings as well. Especially on hydration and what things have alcohol in them. She said to dad no alcohol and he said that’s not a problem and that’s when we learnt what products.

Am glad it is all done @Captain24 and you got some insights also.

I’m home now @Snowie. I don’t know what I’ll do now. I’m just so tired.

It’s interesting as to what products have alcohol in them. Basically anything scented and a lot of deodorants and creams. Also he can’t have any metal products including talcum powder!

Plus you should be moisturising your body twice a day as you approach 50 and beyond.

Another thing I learnt was about my dads erectile function! That’s something I didn’t need to hear 😂

He was asked about his mental health through this. I said to him that mums not here, I am, and to be completely honest. He did say if he struggles he may ask for help. He does know that I have bipolar and have MH issues but doesn’t know the extent. I was hoping it would help him open up.

Oh my I laughed out loud when you said about your Dad's erectile dysfunction. I mean that's awful for him but not what a daughter wants to hear!!! Some things we just don't need to hear.

I know!!! @hanami. All these tests and scans are for his prostate cancer so it was a much needed question but some warning from the nurse would have been nice! I just said to him it’s ok I have broad shoulders and your health is more important!

I did not know that about those products having alcohol in them, nor about the talcum powder. Certainly make you think about what you have in the house.

I'm glad that he feels comfortable asking for help. So many people will just put a front on and not seek help. A bit like what we do at times.

My day has been ok. Did some washing and went to the supermarket. Non eventful but that is probably a good thing. Have already had my quota for prn.

Perhaps just a sit down and some snuggles with Pixie. I'm sure she has missed you today.

It does @Snowie. So many everyday things have metals or alcohol in them.

Im hoping he will ask for help. But yes I know how hard it is.

Im thinking I might go for a nap with Pixie. She was at mums so she was fine. Plus Angel is doing a little bit better today so that is good. I got them both a new treat from Pet Barn today. We don’t have one here.
