I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

I hope that helps @amber22. Interrupted sleep is the worst. It makes dealing with MH even harder.

I might get a hot water bottle tomorrow. I never thought of that.

I wanted a clean house so I have nothing to do tomorrow. I’m going to the next town over to watch the John Farnham movie, have lunch and do a little shopping. I need to get my mood in check so I can enjoy the day. It’s my birthday tomorrow

It is the worst!! It also makes the afternoon slumps a bit harder to get out of because I get even more tired.

Definitely, hot water bottles are so good, I try and not put on the heater until I am genuinely freezing (I'm stubborn like that haha) so hot water bottles are the best during winter. It feels a bit like a hug too, I put it on my back when I go to sleep and I think it helps me to drift off.

Oh my goodness happy birthday for tomorrow! That sounds like a lovely day. Try to get an earlyish night tonight so that you can wake up feeling refreshed to celebrate 🙂 @Captain24

Thank you so much @Snowie. I’m sitting in a cinema about to watch the John Farnham movie. At 45 I’m the youngest here! Lol. Then I’m going to do some shopping and head the hour and a half home. My parents are taking me out to dinner tonight.
