I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Aw @Captain24 I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling like that right now. I think it's really great that you're going to see someone right now. I think the best thing for you right now is to just chat about how you're feeling and they will do the best for you that they can. Be honest, and I'm here for you if you need after the appointment 💘

I was honest. @amber22. I wrote down how I was feeling and handed it to her.

She wants me to go to hospital but is respecting my wishes at the moment. I’ve had a lot of med changes. I have to be closely monitored for 2 weeks and then see what happens.

She said so I have a crazy daughter @tyme. I’m not sure if she was trying to make light of it or not. It was so hard and I kind of regret it. But it had to be done. If I’m no better in 2 weeks the psychiatrist wants me in hospital.

I'm so sorry to hear @Captain24 . Maybe it had good intentions, but it came out as from someone with limited understanding of Mental Health?

It was a very brave step. I am quite proud of you. I acknowledge how hard it must have been.
