I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

I really feel for you @Captain24 as a very good friend of mine really struggles to leave their house too so I have a bit of insight into how you might be feeling. My friend tries to make appointments, do groceries, etc early in the morning to avoid crowds and so as to get home as fast as they can. I understand why they do this but I do worry it might be feeding into their anxiety.

Have you spoken to your GP or other professional supports about how you feel leaving the house? I have read that CBT can be good for this but I don't know much about it to be honest.

I really hope you go okay at your appointment this afternoon and you don't get to anxious around going.
