I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

I just can’t catch a break. My nans husband has just had a bad car accident he is ok though. He had a bad concussion but the hospital discharged him. He is 92!!

I feel like I’m making it all about me but it’s sent my anxiety back up. I don’t know how much more bald luck I can take. I hate myself for it. I’ve had enough.

I had a rough day at work on top of it all. I kept zoning out while I was driving. One minute I’m heading to one digger then the next I was at a different digger and have no recollection of how I got there. It’s really scary. It happened all day. It’s a bloody big truck to zone out in.

I emailed my nurse when I go to work this morning @Paperdaisy as it happened on the way to work.

Apparently it’s all to do with the severe anxiety episode I'm going through. She is contacting my psychiatrist to see if there is anything we can try to get it under control.

Since the 2nd of January my life has been one hell of a roller coaster. More at the bottom of it than the good high parts. It’s been a really rocky 6 weeks.

Do you know what trucks I drive?

My nurse has been fantastic especially since I lost nan and have crashed really badly. @Paperdaisy

When I say work can be dangerous, I drive those really big coal trucks. The ones that can run over cars.

It's so great you have that relationship with your nurse and they are a great support for you. I can tell that makes a huge difference.
