Agree @Captain24 - masking is hard work!
As a BPD-er imagine how tiring it was to live! I used to mask all day at work, then let loose when I came home. I became beastly to all those around me. It was TERRIBLE!
Thank God I don't have to do that anymore. What you see is what you get!
As for sleeping on the floor, that was OKAY... I took two cushions off the lounge and slept on that. However, my nephew was whimpering and crying the night, then in the morning (early early in the morning), all he wanted to do was play! I ended up saying "NO WAY! NO more sleepovers!"... I'm seriously not cut out for voluntary parental duties in the evening. I was so tired. I spent the next day walking around like a zombie, half asleep.
So each night now, my nephew runs over to my place and teases me that he will sleep with me. But the answer is the same, "NO WAY!" LOL...
Seriously, I said to myself I'm ready to sacrifice everything because they are only young once and won't hang around aunties in a few years....but geeezzz.... no more sleepovers with the nephew! Niece is better because she's okay. She's learnt not to annoy me in the mornings or I'll kick her out. Unfortunately, she woke up sick after her sleepover.
Joys of aunty-hood!
