Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

I did get a call yesterday @tyme but I was at the funeral so couldn’t take it. They sent me an email and I responded to that but it takes upto 2 working days to respond.

It’s started raining now and is so calming. I think I need to thank Nan. Lol

Thanks for tonight @tyme. You have given me some insight into what is going on. I really appreciate it.

Im going to have a very early night. I think it’s the only way to stop my head from spinning.

Thank you and I hope you have a good night.

Re: I can’t cope

My nurse just took me for a walk and coffee with another one of her team. That was after I said I didn’t want to leave the house. It did feel a little awkward. Apparently it was so I didn’t cocoon myself.

My anxiety is still out of control. She tried to fit me in with the psychiatrist today but all appointments were booked. She is discussing me after she finishes with her client. My PRN has been increased for now.

I thought that I was imagining how bad I am. But with all this emergency run around. It’s shows me that I’m really not ok and that it’s really really bad.

Im starting to get really scared of where this is going. There is talk of involuntary admission

Hey @Captain24 ,

I was quickly passing through but won't be on for long. Just wanted to know that I'm hearing you and reading along.

Do what feels right for you.

Thanks @tyme.

Im trying so hard to dig myself out of this. I’m hoping if it gets to the involuntary stage they give me a choice of going in voluntarily. That’s one good thing about being in the country!

Your support means a lot

I was about to suggest that @Captain24 - if it comes to an admission, seek the voluntary route.

Otherwise, maybe just suggest to go in for a short time as 'respite'? That has also helped me in the past. Even 3 days or so.

Re: I can’t cope

If it gets to that, the respite option sounds so much better @tyme. Thank you!!!

Re: I can’t cope

I was just in the car when my CM rang. I quickly shut her down. Then dad had to question who it was and why i didn’t talk to them. I was driving and it came through on handsfree.

When I called her back there was no talk of hospital! It’s now about trying to settle me to be ready for work Monday.

If I have no focus I can’t drive a truck safely. But after what I’ve been through with work I can’t have anytime off. It’s an added stress I don’t need.

Plus I lost an hr today and I don’t know what happened. It has scared me.

Re: I can’t cope

3 day short admissions have been helpful for me in the past @Captain24 just long enough to be a circuit breaker. but yes, always aim for a voluntary admission!
