I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Thankyou @Captain24 sweet ❤️. I had to fight back tears the whole shopping trip. Things never used to be like this and I really don't like that they are. Family is supposed to be there for each other especially when we're all we've got, there's no other family other than my mum.

@Captain24 I'm sorry that your friend is going through that. It's absolutely the most heartbreaking thing as a parent to go through. I'm lucky the situation is different with the others but things have just changed so much with mum and my 2 kids there.

For now you need to work on the now not the past. Any short term help is better than nothing. There is the recovery club which you may get something out of it with others experiences as well. It’s 6 months but better than nothing. There is also mindspot which runs courses and someone checks in each week. Again only short term but they may have some insight. Later when you have worked on the now then you can delve into your past. My psych doesn’t really know much about my past at all. She does know about my SA. There is lots she doesn’t know. We have been focused on getting me safe and stable first. The past is buried. Maybe you need to put the past on the back burner for now and just try and work through your current thoughts and actions. @MissGremlin
