@Captain24 I'm glad you're at phsyio and I can imagine it would be stinging when you're moving it.
I'm hoping that those feelings shift for you as I know it's a tricky place to be in.
I'm going to tell you something about me, I'll put a trigger warning cos of the nature of it. Content/Trigger warning: mentions self harm
I used to self harm everyday, I had routine, I'd do my bedtime routine then sit on my lounge and self harm for however long I needed to.
It was a horrible process to go through but it hadn't become something I just needed to do to get relief, it was something that I'd gotten so used to doing the it became a pattern. This all happened with my ex still being here, he knew what was going on and did nothing to help me. I was stuck in that cycle until I lost everything after notifications were made (hoping you can work out what that means), I'd had 4 attempts aswell that resulted in numerous hospital stays. I knew that I couldn't keep going with what I was doing so everything stopped cold turkey, no more self harm, no more attempts, I needed to change in order to get my life and the things that mattered to me most back. It wasn't easy, it was hell breaking that routine but it was just like a switch flicked and I had the strength to get through it. Little did I know that I'd end up with attempts again years later as I honestly never thought I could be in that place again. I went through 13 months of hell where my life changed completely and I had nothing here, my house was empty, I had to put 2 of my dogs down on the same day, but somehow I found the strength to keep going even while fighting through the court system. I share this with you cos I know how quickly things can change, you don't have the things to lose i do but you have your beautiful furbabies and I know you love them and they you. I know there's been alot going on for you, lots of big changes and there's always going to be things that can challenge us along the way. The thought process you're stuck in right now is tricky but I get it, we just need to find out what needs to happen in order for that to shift to a more healthy one. I'm here no matter what, through thick and thin, I'm not a person that just walks away when the going gets tough, rather I step up and put everything i have into helping as much as I can. This is why I wish that my own mental health was better cos I'd love nothing more than to actually support people in a professional level. It's also why I am part of a mental health group to help people, I regularly talk people down from those tough thoughts, help them by talking through what they need to do to clean up if they've slipped up and get the help they need to get through, go through grounding exercises together etc.
Anyway that's the heavy part out there. I'm here always sweet ❤️.
Things are feeling tough today and I know that routine starts again later. Not getting much sleep takes it's toll but I'll have to go to the shops at some stage later today aswell. I've struggled with thoughts and waves of wanting to do things to myself throughout the night but so far I've still been able to keep fighting through them (I'm safe). I'm currently having a cuppa in bed and then I'll probably get up to do my diamond art, I really want to get that one finished.
Hoping you're able to have something to eat when you get back.
