Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I haven't eaten. I just finished cleaning the laundry and I'm about to put the washing in the dryer and hang some up. I did the dishes aswell before.

I'm sorry that your not feeling good sweet, i hope having something to eat helps you.

Re: I can’t cope

OMG you did the laundry!! Well done you! @MissGremlin. I am so proud of you. That was a big thing for you. I hope you can get something to eat. Anything else in the agenda? Like tidying the living room? Or are you done for the day.

It sounds like you are really motoring today!

I’ve just eaten, it was only because I was starving.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 it was a big thing. I'm not sure if I can eat now cos I'm feeling nauseous. I don't know if I should do anything more today either.

I'm glad you've had something to eat sweet.

Re: I can’t cope

That’s ok. You have done so much and the laundry was a huge task to tackle. Does that just leave the living, dining, kitchen and bathroom? @MissGremlin

I am so so so proud of you. We are getting there!

Re: I can’t cope

Are they hard or easy? @MissGremlin You are getting there! I clean the shower when I’m in it as I may as well do it while I’m there!

Im still sitting on the lounge. I really need to get up and bath the dogs. I’ll do it in 10 minutes. It’s the hardest job that I have to do. I definitely don’t enjoy it! Then it’s just cleaning the laundry and the front and back porches and ironing amd then I’m done.

Can you have a rest for a little while? You deserve it and must be tired. You have done so much and the laundry which was a mental task to break through.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 i do the same with the shower, I've been doing it everytime so it's basically clean anyway, the bath doesn't get used other than when I wash Casper so that just needs a wipe over and then the same with the sink. The other 2 areas are pretty much done other than a general tidy up.

Bathing the dogs is definitely a big task, rest for a bit first and then you can tackle it. Are you doing all those things today?

I'm sitting and having toasted tomato and cheese on toast. I feel like things have crashed now that I've stopped. The laundry took alot out of me, everytime I had to grab a chemical bottle to wipe down from the dust it was a huge trigger.

Re: I can’t cope

So you are basically ready! @MissGremlin

The floors and general tidy up are great. Does that feel like a little less pressure? I’m glad you are eating something.

Im sorry you have crashed. You have put in a huge effort and had the triggering time as well. But one way to look at it is that the triggering job is done! You have the triggers to deal with now but you don’t have to think about causing them. Does that make sense? It’s meant to come across as a good thing. Even though you are struggling with it at the moment.

The dogs are bathed, their towels in the was, the sheets are nearly ready to come out of the dryer. When the towels are washed I’ll wash the doona cover.

Im about to head out the front to clean the front. It looks pretty good so it won’t take long at all. Then do the back which will probably take a little longer but not much. The end is in sight! I may iron this afternoon or it can wait until tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the kitchen, cut up the dogs food and do all the floors! Then my house is clean ready for me to go back to work!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 there's still alot of pressure as the outside all needs to be done but i can't do it so have to have someone here to do so. But I'm glad that the inside is mostly done.

It does make sense, I'm actually proud of myself for not washing my hands as many times as I usually would after and even having something to eat after aswell.

You've done so well to wash the dog's and put the towels in the wash.

That sounds like a good plan, hopefully it doesn't take too long. Tomorrow's plans also sound good, it will be nice to have the house ready for when you go back to work.
