Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I'm still being watched on here and screenshots get taken of my posts, that's been proven but at least this part isn't linked to here.

Yay for easy and ready to go meals!

Drive safe sweetheart, I'll be thinking of you too ❤️.

Have the had any screen shots from this thread? @MissGremlin at least it wasn’t linked so that’s a good thing.

I have quick and easy meals for tomorrow too. Since I still have save money for Pix and pay mum and dad back I’m going to try and eat better but cheaply while I’m off. Eat the same thing for a couple of days. I should be able to save some while I’m off.

Im about 5 minutes away from work at the smoke stop. It’s just down the road and there isn’t any smoking on site but we do anyway!

I hope you can get a semi decent sleep tonight.

Talk tomorrow.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 from multiple places sadly. But this came from mental health triage.

I'm glad you made it to work safely, fingers crossed it's a good shift and goes quickly.

Simple meals are good especially when you've been at work and need something quickly so you can get to bed.

Hoping to have a good night's sleep being that I'm feeling so exhausted.

Sending lots of love and hugs to you sweetheart ❤️

Re: I can’t cope

I've been laying in bed for a while now and whilst I'm exhausted I'm having a hard time actually switching my brain off so that I can fall asleep. My body is feeling so sore and my head is hurting which has me worried that I'm coming down sick again. I've got phone calls to make tomorrow which I'm overthinking about what to say, going over and over it in my head. Everything feels too much right now and I just want to be able to sleep, trying to fight back tears but feeling so emotional. I'm safe, laying in bed snuggled up with Casper.

Re: I can’t cope

It sounds like tonight has been incredibly overwhelming for you, @MissGremlin . I can hear how exhausted you are, and how frustrating it must be to feel so ready for sleep while your mind keeps replaying tomorrow's phone calls over and over. When your body is already feeling sore and your head is hurting, it makes sense that everything would feel even heavier.

I also noticed you mentioned worrying that you might be getting sick again. Feeling physically unwell alongside feeling emotionally overwhelmed can be really draining, and it's understandable that your thoughts are spiralling when you're trying to rest.

I'm really glad you reached out instead of sitting with all of this on your own. It sounds like you've done what you can to make yourself comfortable tonight, and I hope being curled up with Casper brings you even a small sense of comfort while you get through this moment.

I hope you're able to get some rest tonight. Be gentle with yourself.

Re: I can’t cope

@SunsetSunrise it's even worse that I'd finally managed to fall asleep only to then have a nightmare and wake up having a panic attack 😞.

I'm so tired of this cycle, it's the same every day/night and nothing I've been able to do has changed things. I'm laying here with tears in my eyes, trying to slow everything down, but I feel like it's all racing a million miles an hour. How do I settle things when where's so much happening at once? My hearts pounding, my breaths are fast and shallow, my whole body is shaking, my head hurts and I feel nauseous, my brain is throwing every possible thought/scenario at me. Physically and mentally I'm exhausted and yet I'm doing my best to keep pushing through, it just feels relentless.

I'm safe, laying here with Casper, he's on me and I've got my hand on him trying to focus on his breathing to help calm me down. I just needed to get this out, to not feel so alone.

Re: I can’t cope

That's so valid @MissGremlin.Waking from a nightmare straight into a panic attack can leave your mind and body feeling like they're still in danger. It can feel pretty unfair, especially since I know you have trouble sleeping. It makes sense that everything feels so intense in this moment. I hear how overwhelming this is feeling and how exhausted you are. You've done so well to take these steps to keep yourself safe, soothed and grounded. I see how much strength it takes to keep showing up for yourself like this.

I hope you're able to wind down again and get some proper rest tonight ✨🌻

Re: I can’t cope

@SunsetSunrise thankyou for the kind words. Unfortunately once again I'd fallen asleep and have woken to the same things 😞. It's feeling like it's going to be a really long and hard night.

I'm safe, trying to settle things again. Going to have a few sips of a cool drink then snuggle back up to Casper.

Re: I can’t cope

I decided to come home from work sick. The night wasn’t going well and I just didn’t want to be there. I do have a headache and a really sore throat though.

I dodged 8 kangaroos, 1 wombat and hit a pig. There is a little damage but I can’t afford to get it fixed. The pig was in the heavy fog and there was a car coming towards me, so his lights and the fog made it impossible to see the pig.

I think I might put my work jumpers in the washing machine to soak and then go to bed. Hopefully I’ll get some sleep. I need it badly. I feel really fatigued. I’m exhausted but the fatigue it different.
