I’m working on it @Nala2022.
Im just saying it, that’s the first step but trying as well. I have had a shower and tied my hair up. I even put shoes and socks on instead of my Ugg boots. Now I’m making weetbix for lunch. That’s a start and a really massive one. It took a lot of convincing myself but I did it! I nearly just laid on my bed but my bed is only for sleeping, I don’t have a tv or anything in there. I try really hard with sleep hygiene. With bipolar it’s really important.
Im starting to accept it and instead of just brushing it to the side I’m going to buy a box of chocolates for the three people that were supportive and went above and beyond to help me and got me through it and claimed me down and gave me the time and juggles things to make the rest of the night easier.
Im trying to do what my psych would suggest. Im suppose to be having an appointment right now but I had to cancel as I just couldn’t afford it. I will see her in 2 weeks but that will have been 8 weeks since I have seen her. So im currently working through all of this with no professional support. The support that I rely on. She is amazing and I can tell her anything without judgement. Her methods are a bit different but she has ADHD and comes up with the weirdest things but we connect in that level and I will try them. One of them was having a bath. I have trouble staying in it and have to set a timer for when I can get out. So I’ll set it for 20 minutes and be watching the clock from 10. So to help distracted me she suggest bath toys. You know like little rubber duckies. So I got some and it did help!
Did you have a good weekend?
