Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 wish I could talk about my situation with them but not allowed to on here. But it makes things hard when I don't have other places to reach out to when I need to.

A lasagne sounds yummy. I brought a roast beef yesterday which I'll cook over the weekend hopefully. I went to the shops in the morning yesterday.

I get not being able to talk about it. There was a mental health group that I was going to and it felt really unusual, it was like AA but mental health way and they forced things on you. I actually mentioned the groups name not even thinking and it was quickly edited! @MissGremlin

It is hard when you only have one place to go and they don’t answer.

Mum and dad had roast last night and gave me some for the dogs. They have been having it a little bit recently too.

The lasagna is cooking and I still don’t know if I’m going to work. The guy I was talking to was unsure so he is going to check and get back to me.

@Captain24 yes it's ok to talk about experiences but not mention names of services as it can discourage others to reach out if they need to. Though I know we're definitely not alone with our experiences with specific services.

It really is hard and in that moment I needed to talk to someone.

We've started something with the roasts now 😂. Glad the dogs have been getting some too.

Ugh that's frustrating still not knowing what's going on, really hope you find out soon. I've just got back home and I'm thinking I might lay on my lounge. I have nothing in me today after such little sleep. Casper has a slight ear infection and I can't afford to take him to the vet so I'm just doing what I can from home.

Re: I can’t cope

I didn’t even think as it had been mentioned on here many times without thinking I just said it. Oh well!! @MissGremlin

It is hard. LL have a hub here now so you speak to someone from around here apparently. That’s a good thing in that they know the area and what is available and stuff but I also don’t want to risk knowing someone. I’ve had suggestions given to me in calls that just aren’t possible out here.

We have started something! The dogs can smell it cooking and get all excited but can’t have it until their dinner time. No scraps off the table. The only time they can have anything is dinner and it’s all weighed out in correct measurements. Jetts isn’t so bad but Pix has to be spot on or it affects her insulin.

Im sitting doing diamond art. Not a good idea to sit in a chair but I have to do something. I usually clean the house today but I'm not doing that incase it hurts and I do have to work tonight.

Having a lay down sounds good, just rest and take it easy. What about warm salt water for Casper's ear? Or some saline from the chemist? It’s not expensive.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 don't worry I did the same thing earlier on when I joined here.

That's a good thing but can understand the worry about knowing someone. It's hard when suggestions aren't possible. For me it's more about connection in those moments rather than suggestions.

Awww that's so cute that they get excited but it's good to make them wait until dinner time. Casper gets a little bit after I've finished eating but the rest is saved for dinners. Definitely have to make sure Pix gets the right amount.

I'm glad you have your diamond art to do but can imagine it wouldn't be comfortable sitting at the moment. Maybe just try to move to stretch occasionally.

I've got some ear cleaner that I brought a while ago so I've been using that, just hoping it settles itself. He's not phased by it though so that's good, I'll just keep an eye on it.

Re: I can’t cope

I get up and move after each colour is done. I have a back brace that I can use but it hurts really badly when I take it off so I don’t want to risk it if I have to go to work tonight. If I don’t I’ll use it @MissGremlin

Poor Pix, all she thinks about is food. I got the cheese out to put on the lasagna and she can to the kitchen and just looked at me with those eyes knowing that she wanted it and couldn’t have it. It’s so sad and heartbreaking but I want her alive so I have to do it.

Hopefully it settles especially if you got it early. They would only give you saline type stuff at the early stage anyway I think. You took him last time could you call the vet and see if they would just write out the same script? Not sure if they would do that though. Mine a really good but they know me really well! They talk to me down the street and ask how my dogs are going, the vets, the nurses and the reception staff!

@Captain24 that's good that you get up and move after each colour is done. In a way I'm hoping that you don't have to work so you can rest your back but I also know work is essential aswell.

Haha it's always the cheese 😂. Casper got some before as I made ham, tomato and cheese croissants. It's horrible when they can't have things especially when they used to be able to before. She's such a beautiful and special girl.

I did think about ringing the vet as last time I caught it early and they gave him steroids to stop it getting infected. I'll see how it is tomorrow morning and if it hasn't settled then I'll give them a call. I've been going to the same vet for years, through all of my dogs so they know me aswell. It's nice to have that sort of relationship where you can stop and chat even outside of needing them.

Re: I can’t cope

Unfortunately I have to go to work @MissGremlin. So I have just eaten and packed my bag. Now to take my meds, have a shower, drop the dogs off and head to bed.

It’s good that you have that relationship as well. See what tomorrow brings and go from there. Hopefully they will do it for you and save some dollars.

Im sorry I won’t be around very much for the next 3 days. I will pop in if I have time.

Rest easy, be gentle and take care of yourself. I’m thinking of you.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 hoping work goes ok, just take things as slowly as you can.

Hoping by tomorrow it's improved as I really don't have the money with so many bills and going to Melbourne next week.

Thankyou sweet, I'll look forward to chatting whenever you can. Thinking of you and sending so much love and hugs ❤️.

Re: I can’t cope

It’s a good job to have as I can just do whatever I want to do. @MissGremlin

Im really hoping it settles for both of you. Bills just never stop! Just remembered I was supposed to call about one today. Oh well I’ll do it next week, it’s bedtime now.
