Im too old to have kids now anyway and I don’t want them it’s just the being alone thing.

I have here as well and a 3 people in my life, I just don’t talk to them much or see them often. I have one booked in the come and stay next year for my birthday. She is currently in hospital and can’t leave as she is homeless since she left her husband while in there!

I can’t believe they forget your birthday. Mum makes it special. I’m getting a green soda steam. I thought she would just go to big w and get a normal white one but she went on their site and found a light green one! I’m also hoping for an Oodie lounge set. But I also need a fetch (tv recording thing) so she might get that instead. I’ll just have to wait and see.

You’ll have your nieces and nephew I think @tyme. I’m sure they will stay around however my niece and I had a good relationship and not now.

But yes it’s only a few years of aloneness not a lifetime full of baggage!

@Captain24 I'm doing this one, but the colours are a bit different to the picture. I usually do about 20 rows at a time but this one i haven't been counting. I've just reached the halfway mark, but it's only 20×30cm.

That’s cute. @MissGremlin. I’ve been doing 25 towns. This one is 15 and I’m really liking it. There is a lot of colours in it though as it’s still grass. I’ll decide what I do when I start the next one, it’s just a lot of sections though.

The is so many people out walking their dogs this afternoon my dogs haven’t stopped barking since I got up.

It’s gloomy and overcast here, it has the ‘feeling’ of rain but there just isn’t any in those kind of clouds. 😢

@Captain24 often I don't count how many rows I do at a time but for the bigger ones I do but then there's an uneven amount and it annoys me. I get when there's alot of sections, doing bigger sections means less to do but bigger ones can get overwhelming.

That's frustrating that the dogs keep barking, that would drive me nuts.

Hoping it rains for you at some stage, it's been raining off and on here today. It was really windy earlier but it's settled now.

I usually just guess kind of. @MissGremlin. But they are usually large. It wasn’t so bad in the bottom of this one as there was lots of the same colour but this small section is easier and less overwhelming to do with all the colours and all over the place.

I just cracked it at them and shut the front door. Now neither of them are happy with me! Jett will get over it in 5 minutes. Pix will take a while to come round! 😂

Even 10 mil of rain is nothing and will fall straight through the ground. It’s so dry underneath that the ground is cracking.

@Captain24 yeah I mostly just guess aswell, it's only 2 times that I've counted them. I'm glad the section is less overwlming to do. I had to stop to make dinner but I'll do some more tonight when I'm sitting in bed.

Yeah that's the worse when it's been dry for so long and even a little bit of rain doesn't do anything.
