Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

@Captain24 the diamond art is an ok distraction. The one i started sorting out last night I can't do, the numbers/letters are printed blurry so I can't read them. Really not happy as it's a stunning picture and as you know it's the last one I had to do. I've been lucky to find this one buried in my wardrobe but it's not full drill.

I'm sorry that you struggled to be social sweet, sometimes it's just all too much being around people. You did really well getting up and I'm glad it felt better than Friday.

Those thoughts are so relentless at times but the fact that you've had a shower, fed the dogs and made yourself dinner is incredible. Really hoping that you can drift off to sleep quickly tonight sweetheart, sending lots of love and hugs ❤️

Re: I can’t cope

That’s cute. @MissGremlin. I prefer full drills. It’s harder and more time consuming and a better distraction. Plus I find having sections is better than the way those are done.

I hope you can find something soon. Before your order arrives. Maybe Kmart?

Im about to go to bed. I’m really tired and feel really withdrawn. I have no energy, lots of thoughts that are really not good. The best place to be is in bed and start all over again tomorrow.

I really hope you can get some sleep and that tomorrow is a little easier on you than today.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 yes i prefer full drill too. This just seems too easy but it also feels like the picture is empty, if that makes sense.

My local kmart really doesn't have any good ones. I did do a bit of crochet today so at least have that aswell.

Hope you can get some sleep sweetheart, be gentle with your wonderful self ❤️.

Thankyou sweet, hope that tomorrow is a better day for both of us ❤️.

How are you feeling tonight? 🥰

Hey @AuntGlow

Sorry I bailed last night. I’m going to bed an half an hour.

My positives where that I have been leaving the house, I’ve been communicating on here more and I’ve been chatting to a friend more. I’ve been doing diamond art instead of sitting there just doom scrolling and not doing anything else. I’m trying to change my way of thinking and not overload myself with jobs everyday and I’ve decided that my house doesn’t need to be cleaned everyday.

We’ve added to my safety plan to go out and look at the stars. Plus a reason to live is for my friend that came and stayed at the end of last year, the one I met in hospital. I told my psych that she has decided to leave her husband and couldn’t cope with the stress of me too. My psych did say the best thing for my friend is to leave her husband. My psych knows my friend well from hospital.

I really want to take a moment to acknowledge these wonderful positives! It sounds like you have been really intentional about how you care for yourself and how you have been grounding/regulating - that's huge! I am curious to know how this has all been going for you?

Adding stars to your safety plan sounds incredibly nervous-system friendly. I have noticed nature does so much for your sense of self-soothing, so I am really glad to hear you have added this to your plan. How do you feel when you star-gaze?

Also, have you been able to catch another sunrise at work?

I am so sorry to hear about your friend, it sounds like she has been going through a lot. I can hear you really care about her too. Have you been able to support one another at all? 🫶

Re: I can’t cope

Yeah. Yesterday I was thinking whether you went because I know you usually go to the marches and stuff int he past @Captain24 .

As for green ants, I've got no idea what they are! I just googled them but I don't think I've seen them before. Are they bigger than the usual black ants? Tbh, I really don't like ants at all. I prefer spiders over ants!

In a way, good on you for taking a day off work because of safety. That's so important, esp in your role.

Hope today has been okay for you.

And when you said Pix's diabetes has been underlying, do you mean she's had it all her life @Captain24 ?

@Captain24 , that koala diamond art is gorgeous! Have you found a folder for them all yet?

Re: I can’t cope

@tyme think you were meant to tag me regarding the koala diamond art. Yes it's cute but not full drill which is annoying. Still haven't found a folder, just storing them in a Lego box at the moment.

Re: I can’t cope

LOL, you're right. That tag was for you @MissGremlin ! Soz!

A lego box? the cardboard ones? Do they all fit? What have you been up to today?

In response to: Re: I can’t cope

Re: I can’t cope

@tyme all good.

They fit into the Lego box from my golden retriever one. I went to the shops and I've been doing things around the house to get ready for the week ahead.

Re: I can’t cope

Work is triple time on a public holiday @tyme!

They are in between the ants you get in the kitchen and a bull ant, in size. They are quite painful and hurt for a minimum of half an hour! We put ice on it when the dogs get bitten. I had one under the strap of my thong when I was mowing and it bit me 3 times! That hurt a lot. It was throbbing for ages.

It was good, I needed that day off to recover from the night before. It also made this block less overwhelming as I then only had 2 days and now 2 nights.

Work was alright I guess. I was concentrating on what I was doing and then the heavy thoughts would just pop into my head. Just one line and the same one mostly.

We think Pix may have had it for 6 months or more just didn’t show any signs until recently. Not all pet parents would have picked it up either! I really thought I was going to lose her but she is tough.

How has your day been?
