I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Yep I made it a couple of weeks ago. @tyme. I’ve just unwrapped it and gotten it out of the tin. It’s my great grandmothers recipe.

Oh well just blame it on the time of year! I’m learning to by smaller things. Like a bar of chocolate not a block. I can’t get the fun size packs because I eat them all!

I’ve been fairly good. I’ve stopped all soft drink so that is my one thing! My dinners are mostly better. I say as I’m about to dig into a bowl of ice cream! 😂

I did go buy myself a Soda stream. So now I just have carbonated water at hand all the time. I used to buy bottles in bulk.

That’s a good idea @tyme. I’ve got one but I need more gas and I think the bottles have expired so I’ll have to grab some more!

I’m on tablets which is suppose to do something to your metabolism. The psychiatrist asked me if they were working I said no. She thought I’d lost weight and said I look like I have. I reminded her she usually sees me on a computer screen. But I guess I’m also a lot more tanned then last time.

I tile her I was seeing a dietitian and she turned to my fill in nurse and asked ‘is she one of us’ She sounded relived that she is with the MH team. Not really sure what that meant though

Sorry @Captain24 , I had to laugh when I read what you said to the psych when she said you look like you've lost weight.... LOL that she normally sees you over a screen.

Argh... yeah. Soda stream gas bottles are more convenient to fill nowadays. You can do it pretty much anywhere. So much healthier than coke...
