I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

I just need to look at it as I’ve overcome everything that has been thrown at me so far. I can do this too!

Ive just cleaned everything on the back deck and thought of you @hanami. Did your husband finish yours in time?

Lol, re the deck! Yes he finished yesterday! He said, will I finish it this afternoon (yesterday after he got home from work) or will I leave it til Saturday. I said TODAY. Ha so it's all done. Yay for finished building jobs. As a builder, he usually leaves stuff around here until last and it often doesn't get done.

Same to you @Captain24 . I really hope your parents 'behave'! I know from experience this littlest of things can set you off though. When my more challenging son was little my mum was over one day and he asked me for some dessert after his lunch. He hadn't eaten all of his lunch and I said no. So my mum pipes up and says 'oh let him have some'. My blood instantly boiled. It probably seemed like a little thing to many people but when this kind of thing happens all the time your fuse is extremely short.

So I hope if you are triggered you can ride it out smoothly! I hope the medication issues work out ok too. I'll be back on the10th Jan but will be here until 5 today.

It is the littlest thing! @hanami. I totally get your example. I every Christmas she will be dishing out the plum pudding and asks me if I want custard. I have never eaten custard! I could be taking a lot of deep breath’s before I answer anything! 😆 In hindsight they have always been a trigger but it wasn’t until working through everything now that I can see it.

Im telling myself that there won’t be any issues with all the med changes but at the same time I’m mentally preparing in case. I am happy to be going of that one though!

I’ve been so busy today and have just realised that I’m feeling ok. I went to my psychiatrist app yesterday feeling pretty low but came out feeling great. We all chatted and laughed after the appointment. My eyes feel a bit strange though so I think I know where I’m headed! 😂
