I can’t cope

@Captain24 i actually haven't had a chance to stop and do anything. I did finish my diamond art this morning though, I'll share a picture soon.

Im planning on my first full day off to be a big day and then I’m free for the others. I like how it worked last block and I had a lot of time to myself.

Not having stopped is hard. It’s exhausting and wears you down. I just want o moments peace when that happens and it drags me down a lot. Which is why I’m trying to learn to look after myself.

I hope you can chill when you go to bed. Do you have another one to start, starting is really hard though.

@Captain24 I've only just sat down, other than the few minutes where I froze in my kitchen and found myself sitting on the floor which I haven't done for a while.

It's so satisfying when you finish them but starting them sucks 😂.

I had something happen at the shops today which left me really shaken (I'm safe), I had no sooner got home and made an iced coffee when my mother rang to ask if I could take her to the shops as her car is off the road. So I haven't stopped since heading out to the doctors to get a flu shot.

I have another one to do, just doing a small one 20×20cm.

@tyme it was a full on day. I'm trying to relax but finding it hard to settle. I'm sorting out the diamond dots at the moment.

That sounds good going to starbucks though I've never been. Lucky yours go back on Monday, kids here don't go back until the following Monday.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow myself.

Kids go on holidays at all different times around Australia. I've been looking to book the kids to go to Japan for a holiday, but I can't find something that's suitable. It's so expensive over the school holidays @MissGremlin Oh well. They'll jsut have to wait. I heard that because of the fuel shortage, they were cancelling flights that aren't full.

Why do you need to 'sort' diamond dots? Don't you do one colour at a time? @MissGremlin

@tyme they definitely do all go at different times and some for longer than others. I can imagine the school holidays would be quite an expensive time to go for anywhere flight wise and even more so at the moment with the fuel situation.

I only work on a section at a time so use whatever colours are in that section. Working on one colour at a time would drive me nuts.

Makes sense why you need to resort the colours - now THAT'S annoying for me! @MissGremlin

I don't know how @Captain24 managed to use square dots - THAT would annoy me because you have to make them so squared and aligned with the next square!

@tyme yes i remember we discussed this a while ago 😂. It's whatever works for each individual i guess.
