Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

I think so but I’m not sure my GP will though. @MissGremlin.

I use my dining table to put it on. I’ve done a couple this size. I see people doing heaps of them and it takes me forever! I just have to remind myself that they are big and hard! A dragon sounds really good. Is it colourful?

Flowers are nice but I also have clay so apparently that makes it harder to grow things. My great grandmother had an absolutely amazing garden. I loved it. My nan had a green thumb too. She could grow anything.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 your gp isn't the one going through it though.

My dining table is currently out of use 😂. Plus I like to sit on my bed and work on them so I use a tray to work on. I don't know how people do them so quickly but I reckon there's a bigger sense of accomplishment when they take time and patience. The dragon is very colourful and I can't wait to finish it.

Clay would definitely make it harder to grow things. Your great grandmother and nan sound like they both had green thumbs.

Re: I can’t cope

If only he realised that @MissGremlin

I need a bigger dining table!!!

It’s to big to be working on in bed but I really want to keep my bed for just sleeping. One of the reasons I never put a tv port in my room.

It’s a big accomplishment when you put that last dot on!

They were both amazing. My great grandmother stopped mowing her lawn in her late 80’s and got someone in. But still kept gardening up until she passed away at 96. Nan was still in the garden until her dementia got to bad but her husband has kept the garden nice and is still mowing the lawn and he is 95

@Captain24 it's frustrating when gp's don't get it.

I don't have a TV in my room but I do watch things on my phone but that's how I wind down for the night while I'm doing my diamond art. My phone puts me to sleep 😂.

It's a huge accomplishment when you put the last dot on.

Wow that's incredible to still be mowing in her 80's and gardening up until she passed away. I'm so glad that nan's husband has still been looking after the garden and so impressive to be mowing at 95.

It is especially when it’s conflicting with my psych and Pdoc! @MissGremlin

Sometimes I read things in my phone but I really try to go to sleep without it. Sometimes I just keep going through it and loose track of time.

They were amazing. They did so well for their ages and nans husband still has a full license too, no restrictions!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I'd rely more on the advice from your psych and pdoc than I would your gp sweet, they have a greater understanding of what's going on.

It can be easy to lose track of time that's for sure. During the night if i wake up i try to do other things before going on my phone, it's only when I've been awake for a while and I've tried to unsuccessfully go back to sleep that I'll grab my phone.

They definitely have done so well for their ages and to still be driving with no restrictions is fantastic.

Re: I can’t cope

I know but he pushes on me @MissGremlin. It stresses me a lot.

Sometimes when I wake up it’s my phone that puts me back to sleep! Especially when I post on here. Next minute I’m out! 😂

They have down really well. Nans husband is doing incredible. He is a tough old bugger. But reasonably healthy as well.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 i can imagine it would be very stressful.

Haha that's the same as me, my phone puts me to sleep 😂. Sometimes it's just getting things out that helps too.

They really have done incredibly well, I'm glad that he's still reasonably healthy aswell.

Re: I can’t cope

I tossed and turned to get to sleep last night. It was a struggle and usually I just fall asleep. I listened to my white noise and it goes for an hour and was finished before I finally dozed off.

Now it’s 3:30 and I’m awake. Tossing and turning again. I feel like I should just get up but I know that that is t a good thing to do. My psych says to just stay in bed and rest. It If I don’t feel tired.

My hip is aching and it’s painful. It usually means there is rain around but none if forecast. So I don’t know what it is.

I don’t feel like I can lay here though. I’m tired but awake. Is this mania sneaking through from my surgery? It did it last time? I’m a little scared. That’s what triggered this whole freeze state.

I don’t want to face it all again. I just want to get through what I’m already going through.

Im safe but I feel really uneasy. But I can’t explain it. I guess really unstable.

My job list for today is done. Except hang out the washing as I have to wait until daylight as there is no light on my clothesline but the clothes are washed and ready to go.

Now I’m going to do all the floors. I have more I want to do but I can’t push my stomach that far. It’s a little sore already. Then I don’t know what to do. I’m still not tired though. The dogs are sound asleep. Jett is laying with his head on Pix.
