It faces north so we have shade in the summer and the sun in the winter. It was kind of a fluke when we bought the house. My husband is a builder so hopefully he gets it done before Christmas ❤️

Pets are great @FloatingFeather They need us so it’s what we have to do. But at least it’s a purpose.

It’s only 20 degrees here but not raining I may take her later but the physio doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

Good luck with the present wrapping @hanami. Do you have many? I just send my brother and niece money and give mum and dad cash. Hope he gets the deck done in time. I want to extend mine but I need to save to put a pool in first. As for me I may go to the village over for lunch with Pix. Other than that I’ll mow the lawn.

I don't have too many presents to wrap thank goodness. I'll probably just do some drawing afterwards and if I'm keen I'll go to the supermarket to buy a few things for xmas day. I loathe the crowds though.

What kind of drawing do you do? @hanami. When my old dog died I had the local vet do a coloured pencil on black drawing of her. It’s amazing.

I hate crowds too. I don’t go into town on weekends as it’s way too busy. The only shopping I have left is the fresh stuff. I just poured the last of the brandy over the Christmas cake so it’s now done too.

It’s still a couple of years away @Shaz51. Im not going into debt for it. If I give up smoking I’ll get it quicker!

@Captain24 sounds so good that you have it all done except the fresh stuff. I also avoid the shops on weekends.

Nawww that drawing sounds amazing! I have been thinking about doing that with our current fur babies. I thought I might do it for my daughter's birthday and she can hang it in her room. They got her through the covid lockdown when she was stuck at home doing her HSC. They were her comfort.

I love doing fashion illustrations. I've always done some sort of art but loved fashion drawing when I was a kid. I got back into it a year or so ago. It's one thing that takes my mind off other stuff. Just drawing fancy clothes on models lol. Stuff I could never afford!
