Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 finally I get to sit down. I haven't sat since like 2.40pm 😂.

Haha glad I'm not the only one 😂. Honestly it's so hard to keep the pantry clean and organised.

You've definitely done alot today, unpacking the dishwasher once it's finished and then packing it is enough for the day.

Hoping the pain relief has kicked in for you sweet? It's hard when everything stops and those thoughts start coming but you're to exhausted to just keep going, I really do understand that feeling.

Yes definitely don't want it to blister, I nice wet, cold flannel should help to stop the burning a bit for you.

Oohhh yummy Christmas cake, love that its your grandmothers recipe ❤️

Re: I can’t cope

I just took literally everything out of my pantry, all appliances and everything. Only one shelf at a time though! I stubbed the shelves down and wiped everything down. Then put it all back. It’s been a big day but it feels so much cleaner. Mum got me some moth thing from Bunnings but she hasn’t given it to me yet. I’ll let you know what it is when I get it. They were these tiny little moths and got everywhere. @tyme. I do also spray fly spray as well. I found mosquitoes as I was cleaning too.

I don’t know how to do it in the bathroom though. I don’t like moth balls either!

I was actually talking about accountability buddies earlier. Do you still have your post its? Can I help you plan things out to make it easier? Is the stress just what you need to do or is it compounded by other things in your life?

I don’t know what I have done. My hip isn’t aching anymore but now my back is really out. I don’t think I did anything mowing the lawn yesterday. I don’t remember tripping or anything. But my hip was sore before then. Who knows. Hopefully the doctor will give me something for the pain tomorrow when I get my MHCP.

Hello @tyme, been a very full on day for me. I'm glad to finally be sitting on my bed.

Was going to ask how you were going but I read your other post. Hoping things are better for you soon ☺️.

It’s nice when we get to sit. @MissGremlin

I think most people are like that with the pantry. I cleaned the linen closet about 4 years ago and I had managed to keep it organised!!!

The dishwasher is unpacked and replaced! Set to finish at 8 in the morning.

The pain relief is totally not working!! I just have to deal with it. It gets me down as well though. Which is even harder right now.

It’ll be right. I think it would have blistered by now. I’ve got a couple of days before I have to put my boots on.

The Christmas cake is amazing. It’s really cool that I can do it. I did it the first time my first Christmas in my own home. I also put in Christmas for the first time as well.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 it definitely is.

Oh can you come and do my linen cupboard 😂. I've been meaning to for so many years now but it's such a big task 😂.

Yay for the dishwasher being unpacked and the next load in there, well done ☺️.

I can understand why it's getting you down, does a heat bag help it sweet or maybe some sort of rub for muscle pain?

Glad it's still a couple of days before you have to wear your boots, hope it's feeling better by then.

It sounds yummy, aww that's so awesome sweet ☺️

Re: I can’t cope

It's okay @MissGremlin . That's life. There's ups and downs. I read you had a big day today. I hope sleep comes to you. I read about your phone call to a crisis line the other day and how they responded. I'm sorry that it would've felt so invalidating.

@Captain24 , way to go. Having that 'clean' feeling is always great.

When I was overseas, they put moth balls EVERYWHERE! They are in every sink, even the kitchen sink. Supposedly, they kill germs and stuff. However, I also read that they don't 'dissolve'. Rather, they evaporate into the air, and the fumes that they release can, over time, because carcinogenic... not sure if this is true... but anyway, I don't like their smell, so I won't be having them in my bathroom!

I wonder what your mum bought.

Re: I can’t cope

Oh yes! And sticky notes is a great idea! I'll start noting some things down right now @Captain24

Thanks for the reminder. We all need a reminder sometimes...

I've found that recently, my brain has been foggy... I reckon that with everything going on, things are less clear.

Re: I can’t cope

@tyme there's definitely lots of ups and downs in life. I really hope I can get some sleep, having 2 hours a night is really not enough. It really did feel so invalidating, it just makes you not want to reach out again.

Re: I can’t cope

I got stood down from work due to mental health for 4 weeks and needed stuff to do. So I went through my entire house. I did everything. @MissGremlin. I’ve kept most of it the same just with little bits here and there that need sorting.. oh and ‘that’ room. I actually have 2 of them but the other one isn’t as bad.

Ive put some gel on it but it’s not working either. I never thought of a heat pack! Thank you.

It is yummy but it was really awesome to do if all in my new house. When I was building I put in a larger oven as well for those occasions when I cook so there is plenty of room for Christmas lunch!

Re: I can’t cope

I couldn’t think of anything worse in your bathroom! @tyme. Could you take your towels and everything out and give it a spray with surface spray or something? It’ll smell bad but won’t last for long. Would that possible help?

Help you get your thoughts organised. I still write notes everyday. If I miss a day then I don’t get anything done and I fall in a heap. But recently I have been spending a lot of time in bed as well so that’s not helpful either. I have already written tomorrow’s list! I also write a shopping list and just add things as I remember I need them. I might not get it all when I’m shopping but I just delete off the list what I do get. I couldn’t manage life without lists or alarms!

I hope you feel less foggy after getting things down. It stops you from having to remember them. You have a lot going on so it’s no wonder your mind isn’t clear.
