I can’t cope

My best friend rang me for an hour. It was a great distraction. It gave me a lift while chatting.

Now it’s over I feel the same shame and the same despair. Wanting it all to just end. I hate this life. Maybe it’s what I deserve. It’s all I’m good for

It sounds like the chat with your best friend was a really nice one. I'm really sorry to read you now feel the way you are feeling. You don't deserve to feel this way - you deserve to feel happiness and supported. I hope you feel supported on the Forums.

I have sent you an email to check in with you. Can you please respond when you can. Is there someone like your GP you can reach out to today? I think it would be good if you could get some extra support around you while you are feeling this way.

You will get through this. I have a fb friend with bipolar who posted yesterday that her medication has finally started to work and she's been stable for some time now. There is so much hope for you! Just put one foot in front of the other for now....until things improve (which they will).

Yes Pix has a boyfriend and they are adorable when they see each other. It’s like a really bad rom com.

As for your description about Pixie and her boyfriend being a bad rom com, I love it. I can imagine them running in slow motion towards each other with the ears flapping in the breeze!

So my GP listened to exactly how I’m feeling. I escaped being scheduled against my will by the skin of my teeth. When she had to fit me in that’s what she thought she would have to do.
I’ve had to promise her that I will be safe. @hanami @FloatingFeather

Ooooh! How are you feeling about it now? How did you feel when she said she might have to send you to hospital? So much overwhelm I imagine. As long as you feel safe. And if you don't that you can call the crisis numbers. And if things got really bad, you could change your mind and go to hospital. We can check in on you again tonight. @tyme will be around then ❤️

Its really good you were able to share your true feelings with your GP @Captain24. It sounds like you are sitting with a lot at the moment - I really hope those intense feelings ease for you soon.

I know you said you promised your GP you will be safe but if for whatever reason you start to feel unsafe please reach out to your GP again (if they are available) or any crisis service. Plus the forums are always here too.
