I left work at 10 today. I was feeling really sick. I have been asleep since until my boss rang to check on me.

I don’t know if it’s because of the crash I’m experiencing or the stress of the crew bbq we were supposed to have today.

Im not feeling ok.

Sounds like your body also needs rest!!!! Just like me yesterday! I crashed for 3 hours!

My body needed to catch up.

You've had some very elevated days - maybe your body is just recuperating after that?

I hope you don't think too much about it. Stick Pixie in your thoughts.

Can Pix swim?

I should listen to my own advice @tyme lol. It was 5hrs and I’d probably still be asleep if my boss didn’t ring!

I need to be gentle on myself. Hopefully it’s just recuperation the last 2 weeks or so have been a pretty wild roller coaster. One extreme to the other. I am totally exhausted.

Pixie loves the water. She can swim but just prefers to paddle where she can touch the ground. There is a river on our walk that she loves to paddle in but with all the floods it’s pretty bad so I won’t let her in. She absolutely loves the beach. I take her lead if and she just runs and jumps on the water. She loves climbing over the rocks. It’s funny when she falls in and has to swim back in!

How has your day been?

I'm glad you got some rest. I'm all rested for the new week 🙂 @Captain24 . I feel quite refreshed now.

I think it was the heat that was draining me last week.

Anyway, why I was asking about Pix and swimming is that I'm told some dogs are made so that their bodies don't allow them to swim such as greyhounds... is that right? I don't know much about it because I've always had dogs that could swim such a labradors, retrievers etc.

I do like dogs, but I know I won't make time for them.

As for my day today... it's been okay, but in terms of being around people, I really just wanted to be alone today. Being around people was irritating, so I'm glad I'm home alone now. I don't know.... the company of people was just too much for me today...

I'm not sad or anything, just irritable lol.

Im still sooo tired @tyme. I have a headache, my body is aching and I have a sore throat.

Yeah there is some dogs that can’t swim. I don’t think French bulldogs can. I know some Staffies can’t.

I like being around people sometimes but if it’s to long I get to irritated too! I can’t do anymore than 2 or 3 people though. The more people the more I shut down.

It so good to be able to come home and be alone, especially when a day has been too much!

You can be irritable all you want if that’s what you feel you need.

Any exciting plans for the week ahead?

I've got a full week ahead, but nothing exciting lol. Just work.

So interesting about dogs and swimming... does that mean there will be some humans who just 'can't swim'? Or can these dogs 'practice' and be able to swim? idk
