Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

The mud is horrendous @tyme I can understand the toxic sludge as you have no idea what was in the flood water

Re: I can’t cope

I never knew flood waters had so much mud in it! @Captain24 .

Only when I saw it creeping up my driveway did I realise!

Re: I can’t cope

Should have seen my car when I drove through it @tyme

Re: I can’t cope

Actually, when I drove through the muddy water, my car came out quite okay @Captain24 . I tell you where it is the worst? When I'm on the freeway and a truck drive past! That's when my car looks sooooo dirty!

How far up was the water when you drove through it? Mine was half way up the tyres.

Re: I can’t cope

Mine was halfway up the door! @tyme. and rushing really fast. I really shouldn’t have gone through

Re: I can’t cope

Ay caramba!! That's sooooo bad! Now this forum-parent of yours has to tell you 'Never to do it again!'

@Captain24

Halfway up the door....*hand on head, shaking head

Re: I can’t cope

Forum-parent! I’m probably older than you! Lol. Yeah I’m not in any hurry to do it again. I was shaking by the time I got to the other side. @tyme

Re: I can’t cope

Hehehe @Captain24 - perhaps you are older, but I'll still have to be your forum parent here - "No more driving through flood waters!"

When are you returning?

I know this might sound bad, but as much as your family is 'toxic', their toxicity may be a good distraction for you so that you are not isolated at home? Do you think so?

Re: I can’t cope

We are heading back on Monday. @tyme.

It’s been a roller coaster. Thanks m loving being in the sun and the sea. Even just watching it. But they bring me down. Last night I had strong SH urges that I haven’t really had recently. It wasn’t just a thought that would pass by.

The answer to you question is I don’t know.

I do know I have learnt a lot about myself these last few days. So much that I now feel I will make it through. I know that there will be ups and downs (at the moment I’m both) but I can see the other side.

I had a friend say to me that when she went through it she came out a better person and that she wouldn’t change her journey as it made her who she is today

Re: I can’t cope

Awwwww hugs @Captain24 - so true.

Accept what life throws at you and you'll come out a better person. Even if it means looking at ice-cream vans!

I have great faith that you will come out of this a better person (not saying that you aren't already). wink wink**

You're so awesome.

I'm gonna be knocking off soon. I'll speak to you soon though...

Please give Pix a big hug from me.
