Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

It scared me but I just called the MH line for my area. @tyme. She said it could be withdrawal from the anti-psychotic. She asked if I was safe and I just said yes

as if I was going to say no. If I get any worse I have to go to the ED. I just have to try and ride it out safely.

Re: I can’t cope

Knowing you have called the MH team makes me feel so much better @Captain24 - well done on this.

I somehow agree that it is med related. I remember being on a certain med and if I tried to withdraw/taper, I'd get the shakes, agitation, sweats....

Please also keep in mind that if it gets worse, please go to ED. Would you consider going to your parents' place?

It just feels like it's better you are not alone tonight. I know you have Pixie though.

If it gets worse I will go to the ED. @tyme. I can’t go to my parents as they have no idea what is going on and I have to work in the morning. I have taken my current meds so I will go to bed.

Sorry for needing you so much tonight.

Thank you so much for being there for me. I appreciate it more than I can express. I think it’s the most scared I’ve been throughout all of this.

Thank you!!

I've been in that unpleasant space @Captain24 . Just having someone sitting there with you can make all the difference.

It's also good to know I'm human - not just an automated robot spitting out messages. I have feelings, I have experiences.

I was very happy to be trusted by you to sit with you tonight.

I hope you have a good sleep.

Hugs, @Captain24 .

As I've mentioned many times, I've been there. I know the terror one may face. I have felt what it is to withdraw from meds. I have felt what it is not to know what is happening.

That's why we are here to share our experiences with each other.

Hugs, tyme

Re: I can’t cope

You were the only person who I thought would get it. @tyme I didn’t know where else to turn.

Im still really irritable and have had angry moments. Driving home I did consider doing something stupid but I concentrated on my breathing and calmed down a little. I’m not scared like last night as I have a possible answer to what is happening. Also I know I can call my nurse in the morning.

Im generally not an irritable angry person. That was very unsettling. I do get a bit irritable if I don’t get much sleep but so does everyone.

@Captain24 sleep does have an impact. I didn’t get awesome sleep last night so feeling it today. I hope you get lots of rest and take care of yourself because you deserve it 💞. Thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts.

Re: I can’t cope

Thank you @creative_writer. You deserve it too.

I’ve been concentrating on my sleep lately to try and help my MH.It is difficult, when I’m on day shift I get up at 4:30 then I go to nightshift. But I do have a strict routine that I follow.

As much as I’m still really struggling I also feel I’m gaining strength to get through this. While some days the SI is really hard to fight other days I just let it pass.

Sending you well wishes.
