Self harm

Self harm

I feel like my thoughts are out of control they are around SH, am safe but am struggling with the thoughts I have been so stressed the thoughts are just coming back. I don't want to have my addiction to SH again. I want to stay clean.

Re: Self harm

@Fluttershy1 aww I'm sorry to hear it.

A friend of mine used to say to me, 'Tough times don't last, but tough people do.'

I think you are pretty tough! So I believe you will be able to get through this. Sending some extra strength to help you along though too

Re: Self harm

That is so hard @Fluttershy1

I know my digital presence is not the same as having someone with you, but I am here with you. Is there anything you can do in this moment - something creative or fun, for example - that might help you connect in with yourself and chase away the numbness?

It can be like a roller coaster @Fluttershy1

But remember roller coasters finish and so will these thoughts/feelings.

Can you do something for yoursefl this afternoon to try and help?

I've tried most things @Snowie, I had a episode before where I flipped out. Am safe

@Fluttershy1 @Snowie

I agree with @Snowie rollercoasters do end. The can be scary when you are on them, but when you come off them things can settle down.

Have you tried drinking some water, sometimes that helps you stay hydrated and can help you feel a little more balanced.

What other things can you do that might help?

Re: Self harm

Glad you are safe @Fluttershy1

I just had a nice relaxing bath. It certainly helped with my anxiety. Perhaps you could try a shower or a bath.
