Walking for Wellness and Healthy Habits

Walking for Wellness and Healthy Habits

  • So I took part in Topic Tuesday this evening on Physical Activity for Mental Health. I feel motivated so I am going to give up my couch potato ways and start to make an effort to get outside to walk for exercise. I am hoping that I will improve my mental health whilst losing weight and increasing fitness. I am going to keep you updated about my progress here. Feel free to join in - the more the merrier! Maybe we can help motivate each other.

Well done on kicking the addiction to Coke @TAB. I have tried giving it up before, many times, but I get super grumpy! Problem is it’s so expensive now. It recently went from $19 for 30 cans to $32. I only buy it when it’s on special now.

@TAB

I want to get healthy which would eventually mean giving it up but I hate the taste of water. I have tried putting things in the water but that doesn’t work for me either. It’s a battle for sure!

@Oaktree ,

I promise you. This is my last week of school. I WILL start walking.

I’m so grateful for the tag and reminders.

I just got back from my daily walk. I did the slightly longer route around the park. I took my son with me for company but he was just catching Pokemon. He didn’t talk much but it was nice to have him there with me. I think I am getting slightly fitter as it didn’t seem as much of a chore today.

Hey @Oaktree

That's so great to hear you enjoyed your walk!

When I was younger I consdidered exercise evil lol. Then I started to change little by little and never looked back. I realised how good exercise made me feel and just kept going each day!

You're doing great
