Share a cuppa?

Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Since being in Syd, I've been getting iced coffee almost every day @ArraDreaming

The worst ones are the maccas and HJ ones....

7/11 is good... better than shell. Remember you told me about the shell ones? I tried it the next day, and it wasn't very nice.

People have told me that with maccas, it depends on when and where you get it. Something about their machine warming up and being the first few coffees means it's better? IDK... I just drink it.

I have noticed this too!! and Mrs jay5 agree with me.
sometimes I buy a maccas iced latte and it tastes sweet, like it has sugar in it almost which I like that, and then other times extremely bitter, like bro how can you mess up an iced coffee it’s 1 coffee shot ice and milk 🤣
it’s like playing Russian roulette with my $5 is this going to be garbage is this gonna be good
If I get takeaway now I get maccas only because of the app and the discount and stuff you get on it, otherwise we try not to get takeaway, not at the moment @tyme
I thought the shell one was good when I last had one, I mean for $2

Re: Share a cuppa?

Shell is $2.50 and 7/11 is $3... @ArraDreaming

But yeah, the most consistent I found is 7/11. Cafe ones are a treat for me... maybe once a week? But it find them too creamy sometimes.

Yeah, see we have a coffee machine at home that we bought in Covid that we need to get better at using @tyme but it’s easy while your already out just to buy one

Re: Share a cuppa?

Melb is very much a coffee city @ArraDreaming . You'd never have so much coffee in Syd unless it's changed.

I have 3 coffee machines at home and all the pods just there, but as you said, it's easier just to buy one.

Re: Share a cuppa?

we live very close to lots @tyme feels like a new one is always opening near us and also it gets pricey because the kids always want something when you stop to get one like a milkshake or a cookie or something it
would save a lot of money if we just didnt
