Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Lol.. you end up have to take the LONG way around just to avoid the shops @ArraDreaming
Yeah, it's so pricey. A cookie for $4 or something. It's good because my sister doesn't buy stuff for the kids so the kids don't ask. Only I buy stuff for them. But that's coz I don't have my own kids. If I did, I'd prob not buy them stuff either.

Wow @ArraDreaming ! That's a really good way of teaching financial maths.
Even a cookie I would want my kids to learn to earn. Only because they need to know the difference between NEEDS and WANTS. A cookie is a want, not a need.
My eldest niece was arguing with my sister today about all the money people have given them while being on this trip here in Syd. All my relos have given all the kids money. I'm sure they all have a few hundred each. So my niece is saying that it's her money so she should get to choose what she wants to spend it on.
One thing for my sister's girls is that they know how to reason, debate and argue.... the boy (my nephew) is always a bit stuck for words and we can't understand him lol. He mixes all this words around...
I think you mentioned your son mixes his words around too?

Lol. Too cute and too funny. I love the broccoli soup business. That's a gem! @ArraDreaming
My nephew is so so small. He's just into size 2 clothes now (and he's 6 years old!). That means, his mouth is small, and he's getting all these big teeth in there. He's already had a few orthodontic appointments to see how they can expand this jaw to get more teeth in. It's terrible. Currently, his mouth is full of baby teeth, but even then they are all mushed together!
The 3 year old here is so so so articulate. Very switched on and cluey too. Sits next to me and wants to work on my 'umputer'.
Kids are funny. And they get frustrated when you don't understand them and then they get even more frustrated when you ask them what they are saying... then they storm off. The girls here have no issues with language, only the boys lol. The boys are the very mathematical/engineerish type here. They don't talk much but they create circuits, calculate sums, order everything...
So strange how they just 'fall into' the social 'norms' here... Oh, but i have one niece who's a tomboy. So that's more balanced..
I didnt mean to have a gender convo here.... just turned out to be one when describing the kids.
