Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Doesn't sound very comfy @Former-Member !! My dog is curled up next to me gently snoring 😁
Things have been hard for awhile now. I do blame myself and shame myself a lot for not trying harder. My psych has told me all these things I should be doing, yet find it so hard just to do anything during the day. I know I have to help myself, and I guess I blame myself for being this way.
I am watching Bondi Rescue at the moment. It is probably the only reality tv I watch. I like crime watching shows like Criminal Minds and Bones.

I moved the cat @Snowie 😅 I couldn't do it anymore.
firstly, I LOVED Bondi rescue growing up! I used to be a surf life saver so idolised them hehe. What do you like about it compared to other reality tv?
Secondly, the doing of the "things" is easier said than done, hey. It might be for different reasons, but I know I really, really struggled to do the most basic of things to be "well" (eg. exercise, eating well, good sleep) for the longest time. I just couldn't start them. Sometimes I'd try to transform my life overnight and create new routines and commit something, but I'd inevitably stop the routine after a day or two and feel guilty and ashamed for it. I think for me, it was actually my ADHD diagnosis which helped me understand that my brain was a little different.
Anyway, not that you have ADHD, but I'm trying to say that while we can be agents of our own change, I had to figure out how to make all those "things" work for me and my brain. And there isn't a lot of support for that. ❤️

That would have been a cool job @Former-Member , being a surf life saver.
I think I like it because it is real life. Other tv reality shows are people trying to get their 5 minutes of fame. It just seems so fake to me. But that is just my opinion, I know a lot of people like them or they wouldn't continue being on.
It is hard to start them. My psych is a big one for walking. Even though I tell her how much of a struggle it is for me, she still insists that I try. I feel like I am letting her down in many ways. Maybe the ECT I am having now will help. It is just the hanging on that is hard at the moment.

I know how hard hanging on was for me at times @Snowie, we're here for you. I think it's truly wonderful that you have held onto hope despite so many challenges ❤️ If you ever want to talk about some walking (or how to start), I'd be really keen for that. It's something I'm struggling with at the moment, even though I know it's important and good for me.
And yes, I agree that Bondi Rescue is more "real". I watch a lot of reality TV and it's super fake and scripted. I don't know why I watch it to be honest

consider it done @Shaz51. I'll make you my best cappuccino ❤️ This might be a silly question, but if you're having a coffee, does that mean you're working tonight?
