I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Sorry to hear that @ArraDreaming. Get well soon, I hope you're not feeling so cranky with yourself today, even with social distancing and all the measures in place we're still going to get illnesses. Have a really good rest.

Thanks @Former-Member @Abner

we just watched movies all day and rested. I feel a bit better now. The kids are ok and full of energy after being home all day so just took our biggest grub to this street party thing our town is having, not for long but just to check it out before it’s too cold or busy for him (he hated it)

Hi @Abner ,

You're always welcome. It is hard for you transporting your heavy instruments, suits and music when you sing. I feel once you are performing and sharing your beautiful creativity with so many you soar with the pleasure music brings. We are so lucky to have you on here. I am always interested to here of how life is treating you. You definitely have a great empathy for others and it is something mainly obtained through our own pain. Have a lovely Saturday night. I have worked today and was a little drained. Going home to cook a teriyaki beef stir fry with lots of fresh veg and steamed rice. Hoping I may sleep better tonight as 3am wake up to prepare for work is daunting. I'm doing self care and sometimes it can be as simple as a good nutritious meal and plenty of rest. Do remember you've got through the hard times. Take care

Hi @Former-Member ,

How are you? I hope all went well yesterday and thankyou for your kind message. I worked today and it just seems to take forever to get home. My journey started at 6 and now after another half hour delay waiting for a train, I'm almost there. I should be grateful I was caught in a deluge like my poor colleague. He was so sorry he was delayed and I was taken aback...Reassured him it was absolutely fine. He's done many good things for me. Meditated today as well. I really was more in the mood to focus on spirituality and looking within. Taking life slowly and quietly and somehow I managed. How was today for you @Former-Member ? Forgive my rambling. I've missed your company. I don't mean to be selfish. I'm forcing myself not to give to the rain as I travel home as falling asleep could be so easy right now. Take care. I managed only 3 hours and 40 minutes sleep last night. So making a big effort to go to bed earlier.

That sounds quite a fun thing to do. Your household must be lively and spontaneous sometimes.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes, my psychologist says I've been through probably the worst experience I'll ever be put through, and she says I've survived it well.

I got some more beard butter too this week...and today I started practising Gounod's "Ave Maria" arrangement of Bach's Prelude in C, and Cesar Franck's "Panis Angelica", I also did my Arbans Trombone and Euphonium exercises, and I'm trying to arrange that Gerald Finzi work, "Fear no More the Heat o' the Sun" for B trumpet and French horn or eupho. With French horns and euphos you have two instruments in the one instrument so you can switch between tunings right in the middle of a work, which is very, VERY cool.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Paulette. Thanks for your message. I'm doing ok. I got caught in the rain on Friday in Melbourne which wasn't too bad compared to what others have been experiencing in NSW.

I'm not sure where you are located.

I went to a Gala night for the Bi-Polar Association last night. It was fun to get out and get dressed up. I hadn't been out socially in so long.

I hope you are doing better at work and things have picked up a little for you.

I have work this afternoon. I too have missed chatting to you and hope you are doing well 😊💜💕💜.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi All Here

I'm still wondering how best to use these forums. But I have just brewed a cuppa so I'm open for a chat? I thank @Lynx for their advice last night with some extra numbers. Also thanks for additional comments by 3 others. I'm sorry I've forgotten their names. I got through the night in the end. Bit of a sugar hit was needed though, my body won't thank me for that. How's anyone's day going so far? I found it did help last night to have some replies, even if I couldn't reply last night. So, G'day 🙂
