I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm very sorry to hear you've had such a horrible day. Everyone has excruciating days like that; days when we feel like absolute fools. No one can get things right all the time, and we can't be models of how to do it all the time. Those days are empathy-strengthening days.

Hey @ArraDreaming ,

I'm here - listening.

I hear you are agitated and probably upset with yourself that you have 'upset' many people today. But that's today. It sounds like you did not intend to upset people. And because we can't wind back the clock, I hope you can find a place to be kind to yourself tonight so that you can start afresh when the sun rises tomorrow.

Sitting with you, tyme

Isn't it beautiful? The music is very Gerald Finzi, and Terry knew I loved Gerald Finzi's music.

Hi @tyme ,

That's so beautiful. Need a cup to start my day. Also great for soothing your throat as ginger is a natural anti inflammatory

Hi @Shaz51 so happy to hear your Mum will be transferred to a local hospital. Well done with all your hard work. Your Mum is so lucky to have you close by and as an advocate 💕💜💕 xx.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Paulette, thanks for that feedback. I'm now able to move through my day alot lighter at the moment; the cptsd is still there and will always be there, but that's not a bad thing, it's simply luggage, like my trumpet, trombone and eupho, I have to lug them and their stands to rehearsals and performances, and when I'm singing I have to lug books and suits to venues. Also I gain confidence from the fact I've been through my traumas and have survived them so well, and I can empathise with others who find themselves in that position. I think that's a gift lots of people don't get to have.
