Welcome and getting started

Introduction

Introduction

Hi guys I am new here but just skipped over introducing myself and threw myself straight into the forums so let's rewind a minute.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder in 1990. It changed my life and not in a good way. My mother said "now you will never do anything with your life" and my Aunt said "we should put her in an institution". It was right then that I decided that I would live the best life I possibly could with this illness. I since met and married my husband and we had 3 gorgeous children who have all now reached adulthood. I have been in and out of hospital a lot since around 2008 and somewhere along the way had BPD added to my diagnosis. I enjoy art and crafts, playing computer games and watching tv. I was working with a psychologist and we were going to work on childhood trauma as I grew up in an abusive household but I kept getting sick so we are currently on a break. Not sure if I want to go back to therapy at this point in time. Not sure what else to add so I will just leave it here. Feel free to ask questions x

Haha @Sophia1

It was because of you that I didn’t go through with shooting the cow. Didn’t think you’d handle it well.

Re: Introduction

Good story @Oaktree & @Sophia1 It's fun writing random little stories sometimes hey? I don't think we need to revive The Rock, but it's nice to pop in here. PS You should have no trouble rustling up something vegetarian if the garden updates on your thread are anything to go by meggle 🙂

@LeChuck @Sophia1 Tonys

Thankyou friends for leaving me one last story each! I have enjoyed our time here at the Rock.

The four friends dressed in their travelling clothes and picked up their swags. Hand in hand they walked to the edge of town where they went separate ways to find new pastures. The Rock would always be here and they knew that but for now it would be a place of sweet memories.

Until we meet again on other threads,

Meggle

Re: Introduction

Hi @Glisten and @Former-Member .. @LeChuck first started this old west town thread as a place where we just put our armour n troubles down, pulled up a bar stool and talked about things other than our troubles. A place to let our imaginations run free for a bit. Not sure if its your thing but its a place to misbehave and run amuck and if that can take you from one place to another, well I hope you will can the inner child, adopt a character, pour a shot n spin it.. First... the Cow @Oaktree n @Sophia1 .. Wasn't that hard. I just snuck up behind him n popped a paper bag. The legs started going . . then lifted an armpit n that finished him off. Four legs to all points on the compass, now when do we eat. Burp... now down to business.

First .. Lets just make one thing clear.. Who's the fasted gun in this flea bitten, horse shitten, poor excuse of a town..

Think just cause I'm all liquored up n ailing, I don't hear the whispers into whiskey glasses. Well yer whiskey whispers back at me yer varmints. So. You bought yourselves some nice big shiny chrome plated bullets and yer planning to gift em to ol tonys postage paid, supper express. Well Ain't that just sweet..!

Then ye better be asking yourselves, just how fast is tony two guns... Well listen up loafers.

Last sheriff who pointed a rattling cylinder of chrome at my ass witnessed for a very brief moment, something other worldly. Sure.. I let him fan of all six at lightning speed.. Even took a moment to flint my cigar as I watched those chrome plated freight trains grow big in my Ray bans..

Then. . . just when they were so close that I could see my reflection in em, critters crawling through my monobrow an all.. Well

. . . thats when the magic happened folks.. Faster n light, my hand whipped out a comb n slicked the grease n roaches from my mop. So shiny were those slugs, I even popped a white head, then faster than you can . . . well just real fast .. OK.. I polished the nicotine of my pearlies n plucked a nose hair or two.

Then all prettied up.. I just flexed up good n proper and let those bullets stick . Ouch ... ouch, ouch ,

oooo, ouch. Only five... Its just a story alright !. So one missed. Pay attention varmints. Im talkin at ya.

Where was I.. OH yes. Picking yer pesky slugs from my rusty dusty hide. Actually I think one got so scared, it turned around and hid back in yer gun. Now My turn to deal the pain yer yellow livered Gin sops..

Beep beep beep beep, wake up tonys, Meds n meal tray buddy says the Rn

Sits bolt upright, wide eyed. cough cough , splutter , n spit n there it was. A big shiny chrome slug

winking back at me from the stainless steel cup..

Someone want to take over this story . The white coats are dragging me of again. tony2guns

“Critters crawling through my monobrow” - possibly the best 5 word ensemble I’ve ever read.

Re: Introduction

@tonys sheriff down! Bullets like well aimed words, on an unstoppable trajectory, blood on the ground, prose sharper and more explosive than a hollowtip. Send some of those white coats my way, I've met an outlaw more than my match x

Re: Introduction

Well so I thought, till a finger quivered, then another, then a leg pulsed. pungent fumes of smouldering circuitry, static in the air as the horrific truth slowly unfolded before the the wide eyed fear frozen, town folk.

Jaws and bibles alike, raising dust as they dropped. The rumours were all true. Half man, half machine. The lawman who could not be killed. An aberration before God. What evil hand put breath into the devils automitron..

A game of life n death with a blacksmiths nightmares. Quarter begged for could not be granted from heartless surgical steel. @LeChuck the widow maker n soul taker, rose back to her feet. The lifeless eye of the crow was upon me..

And it came to pass, a dark cloud came over the land. The eternal eclipse of the apocalypse was upon us. Milk soured, tall men cowered, still born cows, deformed sows, and the grey skies rained large lobes of blood that carved channels through dusty drought stricken faces of fear struck farmers n wild men alike.

And tony2guns rode. Rode hard till his horse frothed blood n snorted its last. Ran till his lungs burned from all that lay in his past. Till there was nothing but stars n sand and nought between.

But @LeChuck was his nemesis and without, he could not be, or be. That cold dark dessert held the reciprocal answers to his future, and black deaths demise. But wounds to be licked afore hammers are clicked. Only a force more evil can slay evil.

The lamb succumb to the wolf

And the bread succumb to the weevil.

Only the act of nefarious cunning

would stage an victorious retrieval.. tonys2guns.

@LeChuck @Oaktree @Glisten @Sophia1 @Shaz51

any one still carrying pig iron @Former-Member ..?

Too be continued...

OH you liked my critters line @Glisten Well. least someone was still at the bar.

Well ..Writing just plain old crap can be very relaxing. A one finger, spelling B reject can dribble here a little. You know.. Someone always rekindles this thread, I grab some tools n try to keep the rusty rattler on the tracks n then they all just up n leave me.. Thats what happened last time.

Hear that @LeChuck .. Your not Dead. . . till I damn well say yer dead, Alright...!

Oh well, I just sook here with my bat n ball... I get it. lol..

Re: Introduction

@tonys Yes I did and I read the next episode, what a cliffhanger. @LeChuck I don’t think you’re dead.

The townsfolk dropped their good books, because of what was behind Two-Guns Tony. A cloud of dust steadily approached the town. Could it be the notorious, blood thirsty Cochise County Cowboys?
