Hi @BPDSurvivor @ArraDreaming @LostAngel @Snowie @WIP @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Daisydreamer @Former-Member and all forumites here. How is lockdown going now the new restrictions have been announced for city and regional areas?
@LostAngel I'm sorry about the food and finance situation. That's really hard to hear. Have you tried to call a charity that might be able to help like St Vinnies or the Salvos? Maybe even a church group if that's relevant? What about calling Centrelink and asking them for help?
@Former-Member thanks for the kind words of support. I've decided to start yet another knitting project to keep my spirits up- this time, a blanket on 6.5mm knitting needles with 132 stitches in some red yarn (a favourite colour of mine) just for me as I've been doing some charity knitting over the past week in the form of beanies and kids jumpers. I'm hoping to make sure I complete this task as I've got lots of knitting projects in various forms of completion due to motivation and boredom being issues of mine.
As for these new restrictions in Melbourne, this whole QR code scanning thing is a little concerning as I feel that the government will have details that I don't want them to know about me and I feel that I'll be doing the contact tracers job for them which I didn't sign up for. Apparently, DHS can call you at any hour of the day if you have been at an exposure site and will continue to call you until they contact you on your phone or worse, will visit your house. I'm sorry but getting a 3am phone call to tell me I've been exposed to coronavirus isn't something I'd want to know as it would really send me into a bad MH spiral. As it is, my MH isn't the best right now as I think some of my schizophrenia symptoms are starting to appear which I don't like along with the depression with me wanting to hide and go to sleep until this whole thing is over. Again, I'm safe so please don't get concerned about me. It's just how I feel at the moment about lockdown and this whole situation in general.
I'm sorry if I've upset anyone. im just over this situation,, especially being segregated into country vs city here in Melbourne and the government not being able to do their job adequately. I honestly believe the characters out of Looney Tuned would be more suited to running Victoria at the present time. Bugs Bunny for Premier of Victoria all the way!
Stay safe and take care forumites!
