Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Morning @Judi9877 , thanks so much for sharing your achievements and a big congrats on the result with your uni quiz! How have you been enjoying the degree thus far? Also, maybe even a bigger congrats for getting to the shops unaccompanied and not experiencing panic. I know how that can feel when the supermarket becomes a place that can set off a chain reaction of anxiety, so just wanted to acknowledge your win in that respsect

My achievement yesterday was getting through a lot of study and doing well on a practice quiz for an exam I'm taking next week. Sounds like we're both going through the end of semester rush to the finish line 🙃

Re: Daily Achievements!

Good evening @Shaz51 @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @LostAngel @TAB @frog and all forumites here.

Today, my achievements were:

- Did some uni studying and discovered I received a Credit for an assessment I submitted that I struggled to complete earlier and had been putting off doing

- Checked out the property my housemate found on Facebook yesterday which is very suitable and the owner was nice

- Got my second Pfizer vaccination done this afternoon with only a sore arm so far as a side effect

- Spoke to my dad as he called me tonight and had a good talk. He was sick on Saturday which is why he didn't call me.

- Watched Home and Away on TV
- Cooked some chicken breast with Rogan Josh sauce and some brown rice for dinner.

Enjoy the rest of the night forumites!

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hi everyone.

I passed my Re-Booked Traffic Controller Prac Assessment today.

3 Weeks after I Passed the 2 Days of Tr C Theory Assessment.

I was sent home Part-Way throught the Prac Day (3rd day) 3 weeks ago - so was marked as Failed, but didn't even get to do the Prac Assessment.

Both of us who were sent Home have Disabilities & Chronic illnesses - It was discriminatory by that Instructor/ Assessor.

This was Confirmed (Discriminatory Instructor) by Today's Different Instructor/ Assessor - At a different distant Location.

He said my 1st Instructor/ Assessor has a Reputation for being Biased.

I had to drive 45 Km there in Peak Freeway Traffic - 140 Km Round trip today (to get home).

So I've now got the Traffic Controller Ticket - I'm Officially a Lollipop Person.

For Roadworks + Construction Sites - Not School Crossings (That's different).

I don't feel excited (just exhausted) - This Traffic Management/ Traffic Controller process (business) has been going on for over 2 months.

So I'm Really Just Over It all.....
