Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Thanks @TAB Yep, I do that too - When thinking "Must get this all done right now".

Don't stop, until I virtually collapse - Then realise, "That was too much, shouldn't have done all that at once".

No not good for body - In my current state either.

Those Immobiliser/ Central Locking Key Thingies - had gone 11 years without having Batteries replaced (still had Original Toyota Batteries in them).

Apparently they're only supposed to Last 4 or 5 year (the Battery Guy said).

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hello Forum Friends the weather has been quite gloomy today but I took the time to do some self reflection particularily when it comes to the way I socialise with people in general,trying to work on some positive changes with my relationships with others,did some journaling which really helped,ate an early dinner and had a complete pamper session in Bathroom showering,moisteriser,face wash,shampoo ect which also helped,after eating early dinner I feel like napping in front of the tv for a while but ended up watching some news only to then turn the news off due to too much negativity,its quiet at the moment,might watch a movie or mesage family,oh and sent a birthday message to a family memebr today thats all for now,stay safe everyone,hope everyones finding some way to get outdoors or spend more time with their families now that lockdowns over in Victoria
