Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Oh thanks @TAB for allowing us to hear such a valid and important perspective of yours.

So relatable that doing what we can on a day to day basis.

I have to say that I also struggle with the things in that graphic. Some more than others with having some time practicing or giving myself permission for, as well as whatever my life is calling or happening for me & where I’m at.

Really appreciate hearing from you

got up early to drop car
- got small coffee
- dropped car
- walled back home via coffee and was sweating so it was a good work out
- did some research on study overseas which slowly turned into self development
- did minor studies
- picking sister up at station

Might buy some groceries on way home and then sort out some other stuff after

Re: Daily Achievements!

Today I went to a free women's workshop on self care. Reinforced a lot of the stuff I've been working on in therapy.

I'm glad I pushed through my social anxiety to attend. It was a small friendly group and the presenter was very upbeat & animated. She made it easy to relax.

What an incredible achievement @Scream58 ! Kudos to you!

As I read your post, I took a deep breath because that's exactly what I had to do in the past when pushing through social anxiety.

I hope you received a lot from the workshop.
