Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Good evening @Eve7 @TAB @RedHorse @MDT @Shaz51 @Former-Member @tyme @Dimity @cloudcore @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @maddison @pinklollipop15 @Meowmy @LostAngel and all forumites here.

@Eve7 I hope you enjoy your trip away! I’ve got a trip planned to East Gippsland at the end of next month for 5 days. I’ll probably have to take my uni work with me as it’s during my study session period.

Today, I achieved the following things;

- Had a shower

- Took meds

- Ate lunch and dinner

- Got the front section of a baby jumper finished and started on the back of it

- Had an afternoon snooze

- Spoke to my sister on the phone

- Stayed home all day

- Watched Paw Patrol on TV during my lunch break

Take care!

Judi9877☺️💐

Re: Daily Achievements!

Coles Delivered the Wrong Order to my Door.

Someone else's Order.

They would not take it Back- Said keep it due to Health & Safety.

So I have $40 worth of Tinned Cat Food.

I have offered it all to my neighbour.

I had a bit of a fight with Coles to Get my Real Order- Worth $150.

I finally got it a few hours later this afternoon.

I was sent by Council (my Temp Casual Job) from Parks & Gardens - To Waste Sanitation Services yesterday (Friday).

That's because they are very Short-Staffed, & considered an Essential Servic.

I spent 9 hours on a Garbage Truck, moving heavy Bins - Some were Huge Industrial Sized Bins (on Wheels).

Very Fast-Paced, exhausting heavy work.

I had to do a RAT Test & take a Photo of -ve Result as Proof, before going to Work.

They took my Temperature.

The previous Friday 18th March I was sent to Wast Sanitation Services as well - Yet that time it was walking through City Malls & Streets for 9 hours - Picking up Rubbish.

Much easier than working on the Garbage Truck yesterday.
