Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.
in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!
So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:
- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;
- I paid my car registration which was due today.
See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
My daily achievements were resting/sleeping all day, phone counselling, and eating some junk food as well as healthy food. Then forums! Yes, the forums are the best communication space I've found besides phone counselling. Tomorrow I've got a few things on so I hope I'll be around to interact, but if I need to rest for a while, I either be on here tomorrow late night, or the next day, if I have a big hiccup tomorrow. If all goes well with me, I'll be back in the afternoon. Please, please pray for me! I'm not religious but maybe I'm a bit religious for now lol!

Re: Daily Achievements!
Haha lol @Judi9877! Nope, you need to make a longer achievements list!!! JUST JOKING. Lol!!! No, in all seriousness, it's good that you're getting back into your Uni degree now. Education is a good thing! Hopefully you successfully complete your degree and find whatever good job that suits you. It seems that you're very productive despite your challenges! This beats me, honestly. I've been struggling lately and I'm happy that you're in a reasonably good place, for now. I'm still bloody well trying to find my good place, and this is like finding a needle in a haystack! I getting through each day, just, though. So that should say something of my measley life. I also understand having to navigate medical treatment options, I do think all medications have their place. I guess it's whatever you need at the time, sometimes it's a daily medicine, other medicines are taken much more rarely. And so long as you have a good relationship with your GP and other specialists, you should be safe with whatever meds you're prescribed because you know how offen you are allowed to take them and which ones you are alergic to, etc, which is different for everyone. So please try not to fret too much. I know we're not allowed to discuss medication arrangements on here, so what I will say is, I feel sure that your medical staff are going to do the best they can for you and I hope you feel better with your treatment program. It's all righteasweet!!! @Judi9877 I hope everyone else is doing well. I'm a bit of a crapshoot at the moment but I'm hoping over the next few days I start getting better again. I won't create too many achievements tomorrow as I don't want my exhaustion to make me sick otherwise I'll miss out on Sunday's excursion. While I'm aware enough tonight, I keep these reminders in the front of my mind so I don't stuff up, even though in reality I'm finding it hard to cope with my mental health at the moment.

Re: Daily Achievements!
Hello everyone, been through very difficult time yesterday. Think was the process. Have been eating less and exercising to lose weight. Introducing new skills at work. Tolerating side effects of new medication. Was set to work through some very painful emotional issues with father and brother. Mainly rested and took easy. Feel better today
