@Dimity Yes I will call psych tomorrow. I am retired and have little to occupy myself. I try to walk every day. I hate cooking for just myself but try not to eat too badly. I am very lazy now I’m older. I sometimes keep a mood tracker. I take my drugs. Oh your husband must have had a hard day. I hate myself when I’m this depressed.

@GezzaP I'm retired too and single. Try not to be too down on yourself but I know it goes with the territory when you're depressed (I have been for quite a long time). Have you had any ongoing interests? I follow current affairs but would like to get back to reading. I dabble in gardening and have some (too many) unfinished projects.

@Dimity I am single too. And I am interested in current affairs too and politics. If I’m ok I read novels. But cannot concentrate at the moment. On rare occasion I garden.

@Dimity Thanks for your best wishes. I went for a walk to try to lift my mood but it is not working unfortunately. Still in a dark place. Any suggestions on what I can do.
