I’m glad you have an appt. Look at it as a good thing @Shaz51.

I was really anxious too. I went in with an attitude as I felt needing Mental Health support was a bad thing. I had never had anything before other than drs saying ‘it’s just depression’. It has turned out to be the best thing for me. I’ve been able to be completely honest with where I’m at, I’ve been heard and I’ve finally been validated.

Yes @Captain24 , the last ones which was a while ago said it was just depression

But we think it is more than that , so I am hoping they listen this time @hanami

And Mr shaz stopped going before because they blamed me for what Mr shaz had

Hi Everyone

I just had one thing to share before I go. When I was overseas last time, one night I was woken up by my hallucinations. This terrified me and I was scared they had come back even though I was on antipsychotics to deal with them. I had previously been diagnosed as bipolar 1 with psychosis.

In the end my doctor told me it wasn’t my psychosis but probably stress as I had thrown up the night before and I wasn’t at home.

Has any of this happened to any of you?

Update about Mr shaz is everyone kept saying he has only anxiety

Well these last 2 weeks with a new MH team and doctor and then the specialist yesterday

The specialist has started him on 2 bipolar medications and next week a MH plan

Hope he sticks to it as he usually gives up and cancels everything
