Its still raining here @Lee82 ... 110 mms over the past 24 hours, and still counting. Similar expected today. 🌧🌧

The only thing I need to do today is to take little Holly to the vet this afternoon. Unless I get flooded in, that is. Flash flooding can cause our road into town to be closed on occasions where rain is like it has been here lately. So I hope that doesnt happen. Its 6 weeks today since Holly had her big operation. But when she had her op, her liver enzymes were a bit high, so the vet wanted to recheck them 6 weeks later. And unfortunately she seems to have developed a bit of a cough over the last week, so I want to get that checked out too.

Hubby is away for a few days from yesterday until Sunday. So I am luxuriating in the ability to do what I want, when I want. He has gone away with his good friend, and meeting up with number of his former business aquaintances. A group of 24 last I heard. Sound like trouble? Yep, you're right. Its supposed to be an annual golf trip for the boys. Although hubby isnt able to play any more due to his Parkinsons Disease, he was going to go and act as Marshall for the weekend. Riding the buggy. However, with all this rain around (including where they went some 5 hours from here) perhaps none of them will be golfing too much. So it may well become a big booze up. 🍺 I hope not, because hubby really cannot handle it any more. He's liable to end up falling and hurting himself, and forgetting to take all his life saving medications. Sigh!

So my weekend is F R E E !!!!! I will likely do some reading and some diamond painting. Indoor activities it will need to be given the prediction of significant amounts of rain every day. How about you?

@Bellarose75 ... another difficult psych session for you today I expect. I hope you come through it stronger than you went into it. I will be around later if you need to debrief or distract. Other than early arvo vet apt, I am around.

@Anastasia ... I hope your work day goes well today. Is it family pizza night again tonight? Can I put in an order?

Wow a weekend to yourself sounds wonderful hun. Although I know you will be worrying about hubby I hope you get to enjoy the time you have to spoil yourself a little, relax and recoup.
Geez I hope the rain settles down a little for you soon. It's nice to have a bit of rain but not when it turns to flooding.
I hope you enjoy your day today hun. I am still at home in bed doing nothing. Still haven't seen my boys 😢 hoping they will won't to come by today after school.
