Having a hard time

Having a hard time

Hiya,

Things have been really hard of recent I've been in and out of hospital for my physical and mental health, things just seem to be getting harder. Days are getting longer.
I've been getting changes in my support team... Things are becoming new again, more supports because of my SI attempts *Im safe*

My physical health is declining causing me to be in and out of hospital more.

I'm trying to stay strong but it's hard, things keep going upside down when I'm sort of getting better.

I just wish it could be eaiser not harder. I'm over going to and from hospital.

I've been disassociating a lot, finding it really hard to stay present, when I can stay present it isn't for long. I just wish I could be better.

I'm safe 🦋

Trying @Snowie,

Things are just tough with my family at the moment and it's really effecting me. May I rant?

Re: Having a hard time

@Snowie - Lately things have been really hard with my family, they don't understand some on my MH issues and they are being very judgemental and controlling over everything I do. I want to buy this one thing to add to my sensory stuff and they won't allow it. Then I get judged for my BPD and impulsive buying which is apart of it. I do go shopping a lot and that is to help me cope. I've tried to stop myself but that makes me worse. They don't understand my rapid mood swings and how I'm feeling. I don't really get space when I ask for it, they just keep invading my space, especially my 9yo brother who doesn't listen and always gets me into trouble for stuff I don't do.

I've spoken to my dad once and he said he will talk to me more and do things with me and he hasn't, his wife is strict and doesn't really like me or understand me. She acts like she does but when she doesn't really. It's just all tearing me apart. I'm just acting like everything is okay when it really isn't.

I'm having issues with my physical health at the moment and they are just like it's all in your head when it's not, my grandma is the only one who believes me. I was literally hunched over in pain last night and she took me to the doctors and all that. I'm practically living with her now. But I also don't like to put all my issues and worries on her so I don't show it.

I'm stuck with what to do, I really don't know what to do. I'm always acting like everything is okay when really it isn't, it's all falling apart.

I'm safe

Re: Having a hard time

It is hard @Fluttershy1 to act like everything is ok when it isn't. It takes up so much of our energy and is hard to do anything else.

I'm sorry it is so hard for you at the moment. It really does sound like your family doesn't completly understand your MI. I know what that feels like.

Could you try and speak to your Dad again?

I am glad you have your grandma, she sounds like a really good support for you.

I haven't got any real answers for you hon, but know that I hear you and am sitting here with you 💕💕

Re: Having a hard time

@Snowie - I really don't feel like contacting dad again. It all feels to much of a effort to contact him because he never talks to me

Re: Having a hard time

Sorry @Fluttershy1

Just had to sort the kids out.

That's fair enough if you don't want to contact your Dad again.
