Love for Shaz51 💖🐦

As many may already know - our wonderful forum friend @Shaz51 recently lost her house in a fire. Shaz51 not only has been the 'keeper of the birthdays' for many years but has also been a much loved and supportive forum member to soooo many here on both the Lived Experience side of the forum as well as the Friends, Family and Carer's side over those years. She builds us up, sends best wishes and love throughout the forum - she gives so much and now it is time for us as a community to rally around her and show that love back.

I know nothing will bring back what you have lost dear Shaz but I do hope knowing you have the community behind you in this time helps to bring a little comfort to you. Love you my sister

Mr shaz says he has been told he is just average risk

It is tricky as no one seems give advice of how to cope with being a average risk and this is where they want to do something serious to get something done which is sad

@Shaz51 Mm it is the big Gap in the MH system in my opinion. Too unwell to keep going as you are, not unwell enough to get the hospital support you could really use.

I think that's where services like sane come in - has Mr Shaz ever called the helpline? Might be really good for him to be able to chat to someone for a little bit, especially if it's a while until his next MH appt.

Yes he tried ringing the team but never got a call back

And haven't got the next appointment booked in @Jynx

So one of his team came this afternoon and asked me what happened 🤔

Hmm yeah makes it tricky. If he's still at the hospital maybe he could ask them to help him secure his next appt or something, or ask if some MH clinicians could come check on him in a couple days. IDK what the options are but I sure hope he finds something 🤞
