Moving forward

Moving forward

As Monday looms I have been trying to work out how to move forward. Today I started collecting things for my coping box (thanks @Crazy_Bug_Lady). I bought some of my fave chocolates to put in and have been gathering bits and pieces. Happy for any other suggestions as to what to put in. I think I may need one for the car too. I'm thinking I may copy some pieces of wisdom from this forum and print them up to add in.

I'm hoping that I get to write more on this thread than the struggle thread as time goes by. Please feel free to add how you are moving forward as well. 💜😊

Re: Moving forward

Hiya @Former-Member. 👋😊
I'm ok. I had a good appointment with my therapist today and am currently in my car outside the shops brain dead trying to think what to have for tea. I'm suffering like you with sleep again. No medication =no sleep. Have you got your friend coming this weekend? I missed reading much yesterday here as I just popped in and out. I hope your day was good. I looked into doing TAFE again today for this term but now I'm not sure. The lecturer that is great is away on leave and I was choosing subjects around her. I have an appointment with the TAFE counsellor next Monday. Anyway that's me. I hope a sleep gives you some more energy. I'm sure I will flake when I get home. Take care 😊💜🤗💐

Hi ya @Former-Member

I've not flaked out just yet. So pleased to hear you had a good appointment today with your therapist. Are you still getting some extra suppport this week? I think my goal for the next little while is to get my sleep sorted out. I do have a friend staying this weekend and we are planning to go to the nights markets and going for some beach walk and having a few drinks.

What course or program are you thinking of studying at tafe? Its great that you are going to talk to someone at tafe. I am doing another course the following weekend just infants course for teaching swimming and I think the week after that I am do my volunteer course evey Wednesday for 5 weeks, I am really looking forward to doing this.

Atm I watching Kira sleep she looks so peacful and relaxed. This morning I gave her the hose for 30mins and she ran non stop the entire time- she as so much energy- I wish that I could bottle it. Take Care

Re: Moving forward

Hi @BlueBay I have been studying a certificate in women's education to help get a job but had to stop as my mental health was so bad. I just want to do one subject 3 hours a week - get this the subject is dealing with conflict. Anyway I'm hoping to start studying a cert 4 in mental health when I've got my mental health under control more than now.
Thanks for asking. I hope your day is ok. I think it's a day off so I hope you've found some peace. 😊💜🤗💐

I had to give my dog to my parents while I was unwell as I can't even deal with him when I'm that far gone. I feel to guilty that I can't be there for him to play with and my moods swing too much he is better away. I saw him last night and he is doing well. I'll get him back in a few days.

Your weekend sounds great. I hope you enjoy it. Just what the doctor ordered. 😎🍸

That's great your course starts soon. I'm sure you'll love it too. Spreading your wings again. 😊💜

Well best get this food and head home. Take care and I hope you sleep well. 😊💜🤗💐

Hi @Shaz51 👋

Hi all,

Just an update, I'm trying to balance my falling in a heap with something good. I've just got home from TAFE and it went really well. There are only 6 more classes so it is feeling possible. It was my first attempt at getting back to the really real albeit still in a safe environment and it felt good and I felt human. I have a beautiful class of women from probably 10 different cultural backgrounds and I love that diversity. I think the subject was a great one to start back. Anyway just wanting to share positives for a change💜😊🤗💐

WOOOHHHHOOOOO💐🍾🎉🎈🎊😘 @Faith-and-Hope re D3 too. That was fabulous to read that you feel like you can tick that box 💜💜💜💜💜💜. S4 isn't happy yet at TAFE but he is going and doing it all off his own back. He hasn't missed the bus yet so I'm doing a small happy dance for that too😊

Re: Moving forward

@Former-Member. So glad your first day back at TAFE went so well.
It sounds like this class of women, might be a safe environment for you to study in.
Well done. I am very happy for you.
