Moving forward

Hmm it appears I'm in for yet another night of minimal sleep. Nò issue I sailed through yesterday on 2.5 hrs - it's a real bummer thouggh.
I'll try sleep again now. 🎶👍👍🎶

I got 3.5 last night @Faith-and-Hope @TAB so all is good. Last day in this job today then 4 off 2 on 2 off 5 on 5 off. It's all good. I've been to work with no sleep in the past so she'll be apples.

@Decadian. I don't worry about my birthday. One year older doesn't really mean much to me - except having to remember my age - lol.
I just think it was one of those days. That's all.
Didn't sleep til after 7 this morning. And awake by 9.30. I guess it will take a while for my body to try and regulate sleep now I'm reducing my sleeping tablets - under consult with my psychiatrist. They are not good for my memory. I'm more forgetful now that at my lowest point. Hoping that will all change soon.

We got a heap of rain last night 38mm in the hills above us. It will all start flowing into our creeks soon. Only expecting mild flooding, but now they say there is nore to come.

I'm driving my boy to meet his dad this afternoon. His dad is taking him to Tassie for a long weekend. I'm so surprised. My son didn't respond much. Neither happy or sad. I guess he needs to process the up and down ride he goes through with his dad.
Other than wishing winter would leave - still cold here & wanting more sleep - all is good.

I know my kids have responded to their dad's circumstances with a sense of "flatness" often ..... it's a form of shield and vigilance for their emotional self-protection. Your son is applying self-care as he remains engaged with an unstable relationship .... he is making a choice and feels secure enough to do so, it would seem.

@Faith-and-Hope. Sounds beautiful where you are.
Some of our bridges are out of bounds due to the creek waters rising. Already have some road closures due to flooding. It's a big country with such varied weather.

I think keeping busy is good, as long as occupation doesn't become too heavy or bogged down.😊
