Feeling incredibly alone this afternoon

You know I have been in hospital nearly 7 weeks and not one person from my church has contacted me. No one checking to see where I am. If I’m ok. It actually hurts.

I can understand you feeling that way. No it's not ok.

Perhaps they know you are in hospital and not sure how to respond. I find when I go in that people don't know how to react to it, so they just don't say/do anything.

I imagine it does @Bow. I’m sure it would be nice if just someone checked in.

I am sorry about that @Bow I didn’t tell anyone about my last admission so I was able to cocoon myself in the hospital.

That sounds so isolating @Bow . I'm so sorry to hear that your church community has not yet visited.

It’s not even about them visiting. It’s the lack of care. There has been nothing. No text to say hey noticed you haven’t been around lately. Hope you’re ok.
I use to work for my church for goodness sakes

That must be so disheartening @Bow .

There are people from the church I attend who I call every week. I would visit them, but they have moved far away. I see it as so necessary. It shows what real care, love, charity, christianity is... It's not about revenue and $$$.

Would you consider texting someone there or something?
