My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

I’m hoping ECT goes well today and your headache isn’t as bad @Bow. I’ll be thinking of you.

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @Captain24 @Snowie Think they started ECT late today…. I didn’t get called until 7:40. Don’t remember waking up again. And got breakfast in bed! Just about to have a shower and maybe catch the second part of groups.

I think that is normal @Bow I rarely remembered waking up.

Hoping the groups are good today.

Re: My Mosaic

I managed to get to the second part of groups this morning…. We were all given a discharge booklet, we can do goal setting, write up a routine, write our triggers and warning signs etc. That’s what we did it groups…. Talked about goal setting.

I’ve done some painting this afternoon. Finished off a paint by number of my daughter. I’ve hung it in my room. I also went and said hello to the dog that came in for pet therapy. Cute lassie looking dog. He was playing ball. Then my peer worker came in for a visit.

im looking forward to the weekend. Looking forward to a couple of days of ECT. Going home Sunday after groups. And may go for a wander down to the shops tomorrow

Re: My Mosaic

Hopefully not @Captain24 i have had both types of painkillers today. But only needed one dose of each.

tomorrow we have groups in the morning and then afternoons are free of a weekend, so I asked my pdoc for extra leave, I’m going for about 6hrs each day. Tomorrow my daughter is at her fathers, so I’m gonna go home and do my hair. I badly need to cover up my greys! Then I will probably go to the shops for a bit…. That way on Sunday I can just spend the day at home with my daughter.

i need to message my ex. Ask him to pick her up in the morning. Bit anxious about it. About him then knowing that I am still in hospital.

Re: My Mosaic

That’s so good that you get so much free leave @Bow and you have planned it out for the best quality time.

I hope your ex doesn’t ask to many questions
